He nodded "there's something called doing it the old fashion way," he glanced down at the girl near Vixiana and crouched down in front of her "if you promise to keep your mouth shut, we won't have to knock you out again, alright?" He said tightly
Clearine nodded fearfully. Her eyes were wide and glossy.
Peggy rounded the corner a second later and ran to embrace her sister. "Vix! Are you good?"
"Sure, if you don't count the fact that I've been carrying this one around. The amount of weird looks I got." Vixian said sarcastically, bursting into laughter.
"you got weird looks from carrying around an unconcncious body and not from a business check of wolves and foxes following you? That's a first." Raziel stood from his crouch and regarded his pack "thank you all for coming and helping. There's no way I can repay you back." He said with genuine proudness and affection. They all crouched into a bow of respect and nuzzled him as they departed. The o let two remainder were Chara and the wolf from before that never left vixiana's side. "Staying Asterix?" Raziel said with a smile. The wolf nodded sheepishly
Peggy held Vixiana tight. "I'm just glad that you're okay. You aren't hurt? At all?"
Clearine watched Raziel with wide eyes. "H-How do you do that? Are there neurotransmitters in their brains that tell them what you're trying to say?"
He glanced back at her and shook his head "no, they understand me like you do, through speak and body language. Not an implant in the brain." Chara walked up to Clearine and watched with sharp eyes. "Easy girly, she's not food." Raziel said with a smile
Clearine inched away from the wolf. "Did you train them for that?" she asked.
Peggy held Vixiana tight. "I'm just glad that you're okay. You aren't hurt? At all?"
Clearine watched Raziel with wide eyes. "H-How do you do that? Are there neurotransmitters in their brains that tell them what you're trying to say?"
"Well Jack's men left me with cuts, bruises, a dislocated elbow, probably a broken rib or two, and probably a broken nose. So you tell me." Vixian replied. "However, they did not kill my personality." One of the foxes walked over to Clearine and sniffed at her ankle.
Clearine inched away from the wolf. "Did you train them for that?" she asked.
He shook his head again as he crouched next to Chara who nudged him with her head "no, they follow me out of their own free will. I do nothing to force their obedience or trust. They chose me as their Alpha, they choose what they want and don't want from me."
Peggy looked at Vixiana sadly. "I'm so sorry for making you go through that, Vix."
Clearine shrieked and scrambled away from the fox. "Th-That'sā¦ interesting."
"Eh it's okay. I need a bit of fun anyways." Vixian said with a laugh. "Jax, leave the poor lady alone." The fox walked away sadly.
Clearine looked at Vixian with wide eyes. "Y-You can do it to?"
"Oh they're trained." Vixian replied.
Clearine hugged her knees to her chest and whimpered fearfully. "Th-They won't, uh, bite me, will they?"
"No, not unless I'm attacked." Vixian shrugged.
She sighed in quiet relief.
Vixian started feel super light headed. She looked at Peggy, hoping she would notice.
"I wouldn't say the same for my wolves." Raziel said as he stood and shook himself off
Peggy glanced at Vixian when she noticed her swaying movements out of the corner of her eye. "Vix!" she cried, rushing to catch her sister.
Clearine scrambled away from the wolves fearfully and looked at Vixian.
"Chara watch the girl." Raziel came up on the other side of Vixiana "did she eat anything other than what you guys had last night?" he asked Peggy "are there any injuries to her stomach or heart?" he continued
(Also, I don't know what you've been imagining, but this is Clearine.)
"I'm not sure, and no," Peggy replied worriedly.
(cool!)
He looked down at Vixiana "Vix can you here me?"
"I don't feel so good Peg." Vixian said.
"Vix? Talk to me. Tell me what's the matter," Peggy said worriedly.
"My stomach. Near the baby!"
