Chris sighed as he picked up his things and moved a seat away from the conflict. He figured things were going to get ugly, and very quick, too.

"Manon. Watch it." Dark smoke, like liquid night pooled at Laelyn's feet. Her hands twitched and the black ink swirled toward Manon.
Manon raised an eyebrow, unimpressed, and promptly turned away. "Are we going, or not?"
The darkness surged toward Manon, paralyzing her.
Manon was still unperturbed. "You should not let your emotions get so out of check, cher."
Manon was still unperturbed. "You should not let your emotions get so out of check, cher."
The panther at Laeyln's side growled, showing fangs dripping the same darkness that rendered Manon helpless.
Manon seemed to focus on something else, eyes lighting up wickedly.
Cimmeria, the panther moved protectively in front of Laelyn.
Michael stood still as the two of them fought. Why wasn't anyone doing anything?? "Stop!" He hated violence. "Stop- we can't- we shouldn't fight!" he willed them to listen to him. "Neither of you guys want to fight each other."
"Correct. That does not mean I wont, though." Manon replied, focusing her gaze on him.
Cimmeria growled again; it grew louder and louder as it turned into a roar.
Laelyn crouched, flicking her hand. The darkness uncoiled from Manon and formed a protective web around Laelyn and Cimmeria. Laelyn curled her wings around her panther and purred methodically.
Sage activated his power for the third time that day a shock wave of calm froze the area with an overwhelming sense of calm almost apathy , "Listen, it's been a very long day, I haven't had any tea and you all are being very Very troublesome, I just got told that either I find a solution or get banished, so if you don't mind please, keep the bickering to a minimum. He kept up the intense wave, even the wind obeyed the command, "So Pipe it down."
"I am not the one who attacked first." Manon stated, rolling her shoulders. "But whatever. Have any of you seen Mira?"
Charity recoiled from Laelyn and her panther with a frightened gasp.
Michael walked with the rest of the group. He really didn't like violence, although he wasn't sure why. Maybe it was just how he was? Nonetheless, Michael didn't want the group to fight. It seemed that they were going to be together for at least one more adventure, and it'd be ideal if they didn't kill each other in that time.
Sage sat on the floor his wings quivering, powerful emotion pulls like that take a lot of energy, saying as in that was his third large atmosphere change within the last hour he was reasonably exhausted. "Let's just get this over with fulfill their requests and be done with it, But before anything else happens I need my tea."
Diminishing the smoke, Laelyn stood and tucked her wings behind her. "I'm ready now." Cimmeria growled quietly. "Shhhh, baby." Laelyn closed her eyes and Cimmeria faded into nothing; a tattoo of a panther appeared on Laelyn's wrist.
Charity bit down on her quivering lip to try and get it to stop. You're such a wimp…
Manon clicked her tongue a couple times and fell silent, waiting.
Sage looked up after composing himself, Come on, you have to be the strong one remember He pushed himself up off of the floor and walked over to Charity, "Alright come on, He placed a hand on her head and ruffled her hair, "Look, these people can be scary, I've lived here for ho knows how long and I'm still scared sometimes, It's alright to be upset, You just lost your family, you've gotten new powers, and over all of that you're still just a teen like the rest of us, It's ok to cry."
"Indeed." Manon agreed, leaning down to pick up a small water snake that had appeared at her feet, and was now coiling around her shoulders. "I like to brew my hot chocolate with whiskey, if you are looking for coping advice."
Michael shot a look to Manon. "They're still kids, Manon." he stated. He turned to Charity and said to her, "But if- well- if you need any- like- coping advice, there's a bunch of people who can help." Michael looked into Charity's eyes to make a point. "Just- we look out for each other, okay? We always do. So just- well- just ask for help."
Charity looked between the three of them. "Okay," she eventually whispered.
Carefully drawing a dagger from her boot, Laelyn summoned darkness in her hand and dipped the blade in it. The darkness saturated the knife and turned it black. She slid it into a sheath at her side, motioning at Sage. "Ready to go? We've been standing here a while now."
Sage looked at Laeyln with a warning, "Keep the darkness to a low please, you won't be needing any weapons." He looked down at Charity, "You ready to go?"
