Sage set down his candy bar and pointed to a wire basket, "Test's go in there when you're done, If you fail this I will be very upset at you." He said teasingly, when you're done have a snickers there's a bucket next to the basket, If you forget your name I will be sad, so don't."
Ovy saw she had Art first and skipped. She ran to the front Dora and threw them open, looking around for something
Charity knocked on the door of Sage's classroom hesitantly. Please let this be the right one….
Chris ate his Snickers quietly and threw the wrapper out. Once he sat down, he continued to sketch in his notebook, which, on that page was the classroom and its students, drawn in an anime-like style. He didn't draw himself; he was too insecure and a critic of himself to do it.
Ivy sat on the concrete floor outside and put her head on her knees, thinking.
Sage heard the quite knock and rolled over to the door, pushing it open, "Hello girls, come on inside, pick a desk, there's paper and pencils up front, just free draw for now sense you're new." He addressed the rest of the class, "As for every one else, we're practicing realism, don't give me that look Miss. Smith I can and will ban you from my hair salon."
Charity slowly stepped into the room. It smelled like chocolate and she smiled a little. She got a pencil and paper from the front and sat near the back of the classroom, drawing intricate little designs.
Chris sighed. He wasn't the best at realism, not without literally copying another person's work. He closed his sketchbook and looked at the new arrivals, not directly, but enough so that he could see bits and pieces of what they looked like.
Charity brushed her hair behind her ear and lightly colored in a spot on her pattern.
Sage rolled back up to the front of the classroom, "Remember basic lines only do so much," Sage turn on the projector and the art work in front of him showed up on the white board, "This looks ok, not bad but I mean not great, as soon as you start to shade." Sage added light shadows around the paper, "It looks much more realistic."
Laelyn tucked in her wings and turned in the test, retrieving the paper from its spot. She drew abstract people, distorting their features.
Sage rolled through the rows of desks stopping at Laelyn, "Laelyn this doesn't look like realism, I am perfectly happy for you to turn this in as extra credit, but for now realism." Sage placed a blank sheet of paper on her desk, "I don't want to give you a zero on this assignment."
Chris turned in the sketch of the classroom, including everyone but himself. He envisioned it in the morning, and he hoped the teacher would notice. The students were doing different actions, and the people in the back were frozen as a still image, talking to one another and passing notes, but in Chris' mind, that was one classroom of many, where he had the power to manipulate what people saw and did. He found his way of expression through his sketches. Some emotions were clear, and some were subtle, like the extension of a shadow that drifts towards a person.
Charity flipped her paper over. Her drawing was embarrassing. She started to doodle something else.
Sage rolled by Chris's desk and paused studying his drawing, he noted that the student had chosen to exclude himself from the drawing, "Well done Chris, have a snickers." He placed the candy on His desk and rolled back up to the front. "Alright, We have some new kids, be nice, if you hurt them I will be upset, so don't."
There was shouting out in the hall, one of the teachers angrily yelling at a bored looking Manon, who was studying her nails.
Sage heard the shouts from his room and stood up quickly, "I'll be back, don't blow anything up." He stormed through the door into the hallway, interrupting the other angel mid lecture, "Ah yes, Mr. Pross I do believe This student is my responsibility, Miss. would you mind coming back to class for just a moment?" Sage looked pointedly at Manon, "Please."
Charity kept her head down and drew.
Manon raised an eyebrow at him, glancing up from her nails. "Whatever. He's just mad that I know more about his own subject than he does." She tossed her hair over her shoulder, and made her way into Sage's classroom.
Ivy sighed and started walking back to the art class
Charity saw Manon enter the room and kept her head down.
Ivy entered the art class and awkwardly looked for a place to sit
Charity looked over and saw her sister. She waved a little.
Ivy sent a small smile her way and found a seat in the back.
(Charity is in the back too, lol)
