He couldn't do it. He couldn't do it. Kameo stared at the 56 prototypes lying in the trash. None of them had worked. It was all his fault. If he was smarter or faster, he could finish this today. It was all his fault.

(NOOOOOO! YOU'RE DOING GREAT! DON'T GIVE UP!)
Joanna returned with a cheese burger. "Hey, Kam, can you give this to Ace?" She set down the plate.
But somewhere above his head, Ace was sick and needed help, so Kameo started again. He was struck with an idea. Rushing upstairs, Kameo brought his needle and looked around for someone other than Ace.
(Name: Ryan Lockwood casually slides a refrence from another rp….
Age: 18
Gender: male
Sexuality: bi
Appearance: wavy dirty blonde hair in an undercut, intense dark brown eyes, pale skin, tall and narrow body, wears a longsleeved dark blue shirt with a black jacket over top, black pants, and brown boots
Personality: untrusting, secretive, can come off kind of weird and creepy but he's nice once you get to know him, kind of annoying, has some intense mood swings (I might add more later)
Job: none yet
Backstory: Ryan was born in Anjou. He was the youngest of four. His oldest brother left the family but didn’t return for years. After some time, Ryan decided to set out to find them despite his mother’s wishes. First he traveled to Serra, then Divo, then to Trieste, to Cielo, and now he’s currently searching in Sole.
Quirks: talks to himself, always feels like he needs to help somehow in stressful situations, but it often overwhelms him
Sector of Origin: Anjou)
Cicada, for once in her life, was actually tranquil. She wondered how long it would last.
Lucian still held a soft frown, and he reminded himself to make note of her condition in her file later. He walked over, leaning against the wall next to her. “Did you hear about the stowaway?” He started.
(Locky?)
(…well….his brother)
(LOCKWOOD)
“Wh-what stowaway?” Her voice was hoarse as she tried to dispel the pain in her eyes, looking anywhere but her brother’s body.
He caught sight of Morrigan's open door. Cursing that he was going to interrupt something probably important, he barged into the room, "I NEED YOUR BLOOD!"

(Thank God it wasn't Cicada. I don't think she could have handled it.)
Morrigan jumped, heart pounding. She didn’t see Kameo, only the tall silhouette of her father. She whimpered in fear, petrified.
(To clarify she’s hallicinating that Kam is her father)
Joanna realized Kameo wasn't there. Huh. She turned to Ace. "Hey, I've got the cheeseburger. How do I get it to ya?"
"I have no idea." Ace cocked his head, "How about you leave it there, unlock my door, run, and then I grab it while you're at a safe distance?"
Ryan walked down the sidewalk, his hood over his head. "This is stupid. No one's giving away anything. No secrets. Nothing." He moved slowly so he could have the chance to look around at everything. He'd only been in Sole for a few days, and planned on searching as long as he could. Ryan had been trying to find his brother for years, and there was no sign of him. It was like he had just…vanished. His younger sister had mentioned something before he left about how his brother had said he was going to hang out with a friend, but Ryan knew that couldn't be right.
"Seems a bit risky, but okay." She jogged back a distance.
Kameo came over, "Sorry for scaring you, I just need your blood. Can I have it?"
Morrigan pressed herself against the wall, looking up at who she thought was her father with large, terrified eyes. “D—Dad?” Her voice quaked.
“Kameo, this is a bad time, just take a sample from my office,” Lucian hissed. Noticing Morrigan’s petrified expression, he slipped an arm around her, tugging her closer to him.
Morrigan was frozen, unable to move or think or feel.
"Holy Nyctea and the saints, I'll leave." Kameo headed out, embarrassed and a little bit happy because damn was Morluc a cute ship or what.
Morrigan couldn’t breathe, potent terror choking her, clouding her mind. She barely felt Lucian’s arms around her.
Cicada felt a storm brewing in the air, yet the skies were clear. She wondered what type of storm it would be.
Lucian moved to help Morrigan sit down on the floor. He crouched in front of her with a concerned expression. “Morrigan, are you okay? Can you here me? Try to take slow breaths,” he said, struggling to keep his tone calm.
