Morrigan clenched her teeth to avoid from crying out in pain. “A lot of things.” was all she said, eyes tracing the words of the poem tattooed on her forearm.
She winced at the mention of the rich. The people who had helped in killing her family. The people of Dalia would be better off with a different ruler. Leah nodded. "Then I would love to have you with me."
(Aww bye!)
Kameo grinned, "Ditto, Captain."
Daso watched Morrigan and the doctor converse for a moment with a relieved smile. He thought they'd make a great couple if they could open their eyes and realize it. Chuckling a little, he turned his attention back towards the city. They were so close to making port.
"A few more minutes, Captain!" One of the crew members called out. "We just need to dock." Leah nodded in response and walked towards the edge of the boat to see the city. The crew could look around the city, take a few things. . . but Leah would be doing something a little different.
Are wings okay for Morrigan to have or no? I’m fine if not)
Daso turned as his captain approached a few feet away from him. She was watching the city with that weathered, serious look in her eye. He was already tongue tied and he hadn't even approached her yet. He had to be smooth. He leaned against the boat near her and smiled. "So, Captain," he said, "what type of adventure are you looking for in Cielo?"
( that's fine )
(Awesome, thanks)
"Hello, Daso." She grinned, focusing her unnerving jade eyes on him. "Just a few trinkets, some gold. . . and what are you looking for? Some pretty girls to entertain?"
"Perhaps, perhaps," he hawed, "although right now I've only got one pretty thing in mind. Err. Girl. One pretty girl." He tried to save his attempt with a wink.
Leah tilted her head to the side and raised a brow, her red hair falling around her face. "And who's that?"
"Oh, I don't know," he said, feigning ignorance, "maybe a ginger. A ginger with stunning green eyes. Possibly someone I already know. Really there's no telling."
(I just realized I wrote that Morrigan was 17, she’s 18 almost 19 Sorry!)
"Oh, I don't know," he said, feigning ignorance, "maybe a ginger. A ginger with stunning green eyes. Possibly someone I already know. Really there's no telling."
I ship these two so hard omfg
"It's always a surprise with you." Leah sighed, looking towards the city so Daso wouldn't see her blush. "Must be a lucky girl then."
Daso didn't catch her blush. He thought her sigh must be annoyance, so he changed the subject. "Coming from Sole, every town seems like such a pit of sin. In a good way," he laughed.
Leah laughed, turning back towards him. "An entertainer from the Religious Sector, huh," She thought out loud, studying him and smiling. God, he's gorgeous. "What do the priests there think of your. . . career path?"
"Well, I couldn't tell you that," he said, trying to be mysterious for all of three seconds. "…Because they don't know. I ran away a few years back and I haven't even glanced back there."
"So are you two done flirting so I can brief the Captain on Cielo's dangers or?" Kameo leaned against the mast, grinning.
Leah nodded in understanding. "I joined my first crew when I was thirteen."
(I have to go, Goodnight guys!)
"Way to ruin the moment," Daso griped, grinning at the newcomer. "So, what new danger awaits?"
