( I guess we can start now. )
(Thanks, and yeah everyone’s looks great! So sure, let’s start then.)
Yay kay)
I'm in so many roleplays…but I must join…pirates!
Name: Daso
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Sexuality: pansexual but he gets more flustered around girls
Appearance: tall and thin with broad shoulders, dark cornrows that are about shoulder length, dark brown eyes, flirty smirk, thick eyebrows and eyelashes, self-described pretty boy
Personality: showy and flirty, overdramatic to hide insecurities, a self-doubting narcissist, can be a bit reckless, desperate to please, wants to experience life, makes jokes a lot (both good and bad), caring, kind, and compassionate
Job: Entertainer. He really is a stowaway who charmed his way into becoming an entertainer. He's quick-witted and can sing and dance, and is always up for a good time.
Backstory: Daso comes from a relatively wealthy, overly religious family. After suffering mental and emotional abuse under his parents, he ran away to become a sailor. He was dishonorably discharged from the navy for endangering people with his recklessness, so he became a stowaway. He regrets leaving sometimes because he left his sister behind. He wears a fraying bracelet that she made for him around his wrist, and sometimes when he is sad he'll play around with it.
Quirks: leans on stuff a lot, amazing at shooting
Sector: Sole
Leah walked across the deck of The Andromeda, her hand resting steadily on the hilt of her sword. Crew members rushed across the ship, checking the rigging, lowering the sails, and steering as they neared the city of Cielo. A few shouted at one another; "Lower the sails!" "We can see the first building, Captain!" and "There's some fog! Watch out for enemy ships!" Leah's wavy, red hair tumbled down past her shoulders, her dark captain's tricorne hat shadowing her face as she hummed an old folk song.
( Daso sounds awesome! I'm trying to figure out if Leah should have a love interest. . . she's the captain, so that maybe a struggle )
Kameo walked alongside his captain, his hair ruffling in the breeze as his eyes searched the horizon.
Lucian was sat in his medical procedure room/office at a wooden desk, filling out a bit of paperwork. He found it annoying and tedious to have to fill things out, when he could be spending his time treating any of the sick or injured crew. His fingers of his free hand slowly traced patterns on the wood, his eyebrows furrowed in concentration.
Morrigan sat up in the crows nest, the wind whipping her hair back as she tracked the movements of the sun. Her hands gripped the rail tightly, a new cut running down her arm.
(aww thanks! Leah is cool!! Daso would definitely have a crush on her, so whatever u wanna do would work :D)
Daso strolled down the deck, watching everyone else work. He knew he should probably contribute, at least a little, but…he didn't want to. He was enjoying the sea breeze. The mist colliding against his skin, the salt on his tongue –it was heavenly. He gazed up at the captain and caught her eye, giving her a little grin of rebellion. She'd probably get on him for not helping, but he didn't care.
The sight of the city filled Kameo with disgust as he remembered his morbid life there. He tried to shake the memories out of his mind as he paced around the ship, thinking of various excuses to avoid going into the city.
Lucian exhaled in annoyance when he messed up a word. Having the tendency to be a perfectionist at times, he crushed up the paper he was writing and tossed it aside into a bin.
Leah saw Daso grin at her and she shook her head slightly, a small smile playing on her lips. "We're nearing Cielo. . ." She sighed, looking towards the city.
At her smile, he knew he was in the clear. He swept a dramatic bow before turning back to the ocean and the looming city just ahead. It'd been ages since he'd stepped foot in a city. He loved the bustling and he hadn't ever visited Cielo. He had to admit, he was excited.
Morrigan slid down to the deck on a rope, purposely avoiding eye contact with Lucian. She couldn’t quite handle eye contact right now.
He popped a caramel into his mouth and leaned against the side of the ship, closing his eyes and thinking of the sea. And his mother. Captain's voice shook him out of his trance and he looked at her, "Of course we are. I've decided to stay on the ship to defend it." Kameo hoped it was a valid excuse.
Lucian’s eyes flickered to Morrigan, his eyes on her arm. But, he said nothing, figuring that if it got worse he would be contacted. A man rushed over to him, complaining of a headache and Lucian sat the man down, asking his symptoms and taking his temperature. He gave the man two pills, telling him that if it didn’t clear up in the next day or so, then to come back.
Leah nodded, sensing his unease. Of course he's nervous. . . he came from here. Don't you remember when you came back to Trieste? "You can stay on the ship. I'd like one of my top men to defend it."
Morrigan tugged her black sleeve down self-consciously, but it was too billowy and flew right up again, exposing the cut she’d made with a cheese knife earlier. It was deep, and hurt, but she’d deserved it. She always deserved it.
“Hey, Lucian. Do you remember where the acetyl salicylic acid is?” Alice asked, popping her head in.
Kameo swelled with pride, "Thank you Captain. I won't disappoint." he tipped his hat and walked up towards the steering wheel.
