Morrigan looked down at her arm. “I hope so Lucian.” She cleared her throat. “When I jumped into the water, I didn’t jump only because I wanted to follow you and my brother. That was part of it. The other reason was because I thought it would kill me.”
(Alice knocked on a random door. I am concerned of which door she has knocked on.)
"I'll get the cure." Kameo reached into a cabinet and pulled out the glass vial, slumping forward and walking with Daso to see Morrigan.
"Will it work?" Daso asked as they went back towards the infirmary.
Um, pretend she knocked in Mor and Lucian’s door but no one answered because it’s sort of a quarantine in there? Idk)
(oh we can run into Alice we're heading that way)
"Yes." Kameo walked in through the door, noticing that the world had been seeped of its color. He looked around, panicking, and only seeing shades of grey. Clearing his throat, he stared at Lucian.
Daso stayed outside. He didn't want to catch the plague and spread it around. He saw Alice about to leave and waved her over.
Cicada stayed outside with Daso. She couldn't handle being in there.
"Lucian. Lucian. Hello." Kameo said blandly, face streaked with tears.
Morrigan looked up to see Kameo. “Kameo. Hey.”, she greeted softly.
"Mm." he acknowledged Morrigan.
Lucian was about to respond to Morrigan, but he shut his mouth when he heard Kameo. “Please tell me you know how to cure this?” He asked, getting straight into buisness.
(Alice knocked on a random door. I am concerned of which door she has knocked on.)
(Could be the kitchen if you wanted, I can rewrite what I did earlier for that to work.)
Joanna picked up the tray and headed for the closed door. "Say Ryan, would you mind stepping out so I can lock the door?"
Lucian was about to respond to Morrigan, but he shut his mouth when he heard Kameo. “Please tell me you know how to cure this?” He asked, getting straight into buisness.
"Of course." Kameo handed Lucian the vial. "It worked on the sick person I brought, but I didn't get there in time."
Morrigan didn’t feel relieved or disappointed, just numb as she stared at the vial.
Kameo buried his face in his hands and sat down on the floor, sobbing. "I'm s-sorry.."
(NERD I'm still sad that Ace died.)
“That boy is dead?” Lucian asked, seemingly shocked. “Hell, Kameo, I’m sorry.”
"It was-it wasn't just a boy." Kameo choked out, "It was Ace."
Lucian nodded slowly. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know,” he said quickly. He thought for a moment, the name sounding familiar. Had Kameo mentioned him before? “Hold on, was he the one you had relations with?”
"The Ace who was in our crew for years?" Kameo looked at Lucian, a wave of tears wavering behind him.
Numbness, darkness. Morrigan wanted to die. She wasn’t sad, wasn’t disappointed, just tired. So tired.
Lucian exhaled slowly, rubbing his jaw. “I have only been on this crew for around five months, I believe. I apologize if I don’t know everyone,” He said, struggling to keep his voice from growing frustrated. He glanced at Morrigan, a frown forming. “You should take that..”
