"Yes my dearest friend you did" she said with a giggle nuzzling his nose in a playful manner pulling him close

“Well shoot. Guess I’ll just have to go find breakfast.” He hummed, playing as well. “Unless… I have you for breakfast!” He then playfully nibbled on her cheeks and neck, not hard enough to puncture her skin.

She giggled throwing her head back as she did so "Lukey" she cried out in the giggling she brought her head back up " you can't eat me im your best friend "

“Hmm, unless I make you a vampire. But your dad would kill me if I did, huh?” He asks, sighing some. “Anyway, how are you?”

"Eh here and there" she said and let go of him " the same they always are " she said closing her eyes with a sigh" you?"

He shrugged some in response. “I ‘spose I’m not doing awful. Though it’s been harder and harder to find food lately…” he huffed. “I don’t think I’ve eaten in a few days. But, I’m still looking. Though being hungry makes it harder.”

Caroline looked at her wrist. Alot of times she had let lucas drink from her to give him strength. She rolled up her sleeve " i know its not much and its not that good but it'll make you stronger "

Lucas shook his head some. "I've taken enough from you lately. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine." He put his hands in his pockets. "Has your dad even noticed the scars?"

He huffed lightly. "Tch. Old man never knows anything, does he?" He asks half-jokingly. "Anyway, got any plans for today?"

" Nope its Wednesday its my free day you know that" she said with a smile pushing on his shoulder lightly

"Well great. Means we can just hang out today." He grinned. "Hey, I wanna show you this cave thing I found the other day. It's pretty cool."

she tilted her head to the side "a cave huh? Sounds cool" she said bouncing up on her toes with a smile towards her best friend

Lucas chuckled some at her excited behavior. "Follow me then." He shifts back into a bat and flies up some, but to where his friend can still see him, leading her to the cave. It took a while, but finally, they arrived after what seemed like forever. "Here it is!" He says, shifting back to a human after landing on the ground. "Let's go inside!"

" you know that's not fair you can fly up and im stuck on the ground " she pouted before starting to walk inside the cave

He laughed some. “Don’t be upset! Honestly, it’s a lot more difficult than you think, and more tiring.” He followed her into the cave. “I’d probably prefer walking most times, but I need the exercise.”

Lucas shrugged some. “Don’t mind me, you know I’m confusing.” He looks around the cave. “I figured it’d be a nice hangout for during the day, since its close to you.”

" oh lukey your so thoughtful " she said putting her hand over her heart and giving him a look of gratitude " your just so sweet "

If he could, Lucas would’ve blushed just then. But he just simply smiled at Caroline. “Well, it was just a thought, I mean it’s not all that great of a thing..”

She bumped him with his hip " what are you talking about you found us a place our place care and Lukey's place " she said smiling at him

Lucas looked around. “Well, yeah… S’long as you don’t abound on me for another week…” he teased, laughing some to himself. “Otherwise I might just have to capture you!”

She gasped quietly" do you think i would ever do that to my best friend " she asked teasing him pretending to be offended

“I dunno, you seem to be fine with it any other time!” He pretends to pout as well, holding back from laughing.
