Fade just has this ever-present slight smirk on his face. He shoves the last bit of mash potatoes that was on his plate into his mouth and gets up, he turns to Barry "Well I guess I'll cya at class if I even decide to show up" He gives a short laugh as he starts walking out.
"Bye Fade!", he called after his friend, laughing quietly to himself.
"I shall exit too.." Peony added, pushing away from the table. "It has been the sweet! Good night to you all." she bowed to them and started towards the door, a smile on her face as she hummed a folktune. She already had studies, Humanities and American History for starters.
Fade holds his hand up lazily as he walks out when Barry said bye. He walks down the hallway, his hand trembling as he took out his phone. He had been ignoring it all this time and made sure that his nervousness hadn't shown. He takes out his phone and sees the two text messages.
Oliver smiles, content, he thinks to himself, this will be very different from last year! They all seem so nice and happy…very different from last year
Peony passed Fade in the hallway on her way to her dorm. "Good night, Fade…" she told him with a small wave. She was preoccupied, looking at a list in her hand. It was kept on her person because she would have to hunt the books on this list down by the end of tomorrow. She smiled. Better to start now…
(We're just gonna say Beau left early and is in the dorm XD)
Fade smiles, nodding to her "Night Peony" He walks to his room and reads over the text, he sighs "I guess I'll have to buy a new phone" He says as he chucks it out the window, literally.
Sym is just sitting in an empty park//
(is everyone heading back to the dorms?
((It appears so. When do we skip to the next day??))
(we can go ahead and skip to the next day now)
Aether groaned, throwing a hand out and blindly reaching to turn her alarm off. After the others left, she went back to the dorm with Maggie, both collapsing on the bed as soon as they got into the dorm. The beeping was finally silenced, and Aether snuggled back into the covers, sighing happily.
"Rise and shine!" Magdalena shouted as the alarm clock went off. She sighed, shaking her head at Aether. "C'mon Aether! It's the first day of classes! Wake up!"
Peony awoke to the song of a blue jay.
In her dorm.
Sitting up from her bed, pushing opened books off her lap she yawns and then smiled. "Maān Erin…" she sighed, looking over to the bird. She hadn't gotten undress last night, curling up in her covers to fight her way through a few english nursery rhymes. She had written down the terms she didn't know and worked to translate them. By the end of the night, she had more words she didn't know than those translated. Glancing a the list, she fought another sigh. She refused to be discouraged. "First day, much learning…" she said with a determined look. She would get better. She would make sure of it.
Getting out of bed she moved with speed. Using the shower, a wonderful contraption, getting dressed, and checking for her schedule once more. All the while listening to the sound of the blue jay. it chirped about, resting on the window sill. Peony smiled and gently pushed him out. "Iim gar'na glenn-hi, ae." She waved it goodbye before closing the window.
Barry groaned and rolled over in bed. “Fade…? You up yet?”, he mumbled sleepily, wanting to close his eyes again but barely resisting.
Oliver rolls out of bed and straight to the floor, “…mm morning” he mumbles to himself
Beau had already been awake for hours, unable to sleep due to his anxiety. He was sitting crosslegged on his bed, eating Twizzlers. He had circles under his eyes already, and he glanced over at Oliver. "Morning."
"But I don't wanna!" Aether whined. She turned over to peek at the alarm clock through sleepy eyes. Seeing the time, she jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom, almost knocking Maggie over in her wake. If she didn't hurry, she was going to be late to class!
Magdalena rolled her eyes, slipping on her jacket. She had missed breakfast, but luckily for her she still had some snacks left over from the trip to Tetorra. "Hey Aether!" She called out. "Do you want me to leave you some food before I go?"
“Good morning!” Oliver says cheerily, “…are you okay?” He asks looking concerned at his undereye circles
"I'm alright…" Beau yawned, eating another Twizzler to try and get some sugar in his blood to replace the energy he didn't have temporarily. "Didn't really get any sleep."
