Wincing a little bit, he gained his calm expression and excepted the fact that he was going to get beaten up.
"I don't have much….go bug someone else"
He says not daring to pull away. He could very well pummel them, but he wouldn't actually hurt someone else just for hurting them. Now if they hurt someone else, they would be in for a surprise.
Zara reached them and push of of them out of the way. "Go pick on someone else." She growled, giving them a look.
A few of them laughed. "We were just joking. What the deal anyways? Queen of terror got a boyfriend?" They teased.
He didn't say anything. He just stepped away from the locker, fixing his hair as he looked at the ground. Occasionally looking up at Zara. He didn't know why in the world some would come and help him. And Zara herself! She must want something from him.
"No. He´s my money bag. Now scram!" She growled. She hated these guys. "Before we need to take it outside."
The boys scoffed between themselves and walked off, spitting hateful at Zara.
"Uhm….here," he says quietly once the guys had walked off, pulling his wallet out trying to find his money within all of the change and cards in it. Finally, he pulls out a fifty, handing it to her.
"Sorry to bother you" Of course that's what she wanted. His money. That's what they all wanted. Either that or the fact that he got the girls. He denied them of course. They're usually the shy ones. Either that, or they also wanted money.
He should have known….
Zara looked at the fifty he offered. She pushed it away. "Look. Lets not do that. I was doing that to get them off your back. If you want to pay me back then sit with us at lunch." She said as she wandered back to her group. Once she got back Alyx made a face at her. She pushed him playfully. The bell rang and they all hurried off to class.
He stood there with the fifty still in his hand, holding it out to…well now….nobody. He took a deep breath and stuck the bill in his wallet and put it in his bag, in a secret zipper, making sure to keep a twenty in his back pocket. Just in case anyone decides to pick on him again. Though it wasn't going to stop them from beating the living daylights out of him. It would just satisfy them until "next time". And there was always the next time.
He pursed his lips into a thin kine for a second as he thought about what just happened until the bell rang, making Isueel jump, letting out a small rather cute (in a weird way) sound as he did. He was never good with being caught of guard. Then with that, he hurried off to class
Zara plopped down at her table along with Ava and Alyx.
"What up with you?" Ava asked. Zara grabbed onto Ava´s hand and just held it.
"Just tired." She mumbled as she looked up at her best friend.
Ava used to be the most bullied people in the building. Constantly being picked on and taken advantage of. They had become friends when Ava asked if Zara could protect her if she did her homework. Zara took her under her arm and they had been friends. Zara never did let Ava do her homework.
Isuel walked down the halls near the cafeteria, debating whether or not he should join Zara. She probably had a whole group of her thug bully friends hanging out with her, ready to beat him up. He always assumed the worst. He wasn't going to est today anyway. He looked around the room, past all of the tables and people. The noise was way too loud for him to handle. It was too much for him to handle, so he past Zaras table without realizing it and going through the back door leading to the other hallway on the other side of the room. He could still hear everyone's chattering and some yelling.
(Sh!t! I've been calling him Iren!)
Ava saw Isuel looking around the Cafeteria like a lost puppy.
"Hey Zara. Isn't that the kid from this morning? He looks pretty out of it" She asked.
Zara looked up and saw him.
"Hey Isuel!" She yelled at him. She waved him over. Alyx wiggled his eyebrows at her which earned him a flick on the nose.
(I know, i just assumed it was autocorrect. He's Korean, so his name is Korean…if that helps any)
(But it's fine, i just kinda found it funny)
He turned around right as she called his name, though the big double doors slamming shut as he turned around and saw her for a split second. "Oh…..uhm…" He mumbles to himself as he stays in his tracks. Not walking away, but not stepping towards the door.
Zara waved him over before laying her head down on the table. She was tired and her coffee wore off awhile.
The door was shut as he was on the other side of the room that Zara was in. In the hallway, he looked around out of the window. Debating whether or not he should go back in or not. But deciding that he didn't want a migraine, he went up to the roof, past the sign saying "no students allowed".
Zara huffed and got up. "I'll be back in a minute." She said as she began to walk off. Ava grabbed her hand before she got too far.
"Don't go to hard on him." Ava said.
"I'm not. I just wanna talk to him." She said before she headed off, pushing open the doors open wide before they slammed shut.
He went up the stairs humming "you are my sunshine" as he did. Opening the large metal door with ease, and slowly shutting it so it wouldn't slam. He went up to the rooftop, standing at the edge. Every time he came here he debated whether or not to kill himself. And would always decide against it.
But the debating began once again.
Zara followed him up to the roof. She shoved her hands into her pockets as she approached him.
"You know students aren't allowed to be up here. Its says so on the sign." She said as she stood next to him, her hair blowing in the wind.
He didnt turn around and look at her. He just sighed and stared off into the distance like he was in some dramtaic k drama.
Which he looked like he was. "나는 확실히 그것의 벌금을. 나는 결코 잡히지 않았다." He says in more of a sweet voice, though she probably couldnt understand him. He was never one to break the rules or anything like that.
But standing up here, just relaxing on the roof and looking over everything. All of his worries washed away.
"What?" Zara asked, turning towards him.
(Hey I won't really be on much today just so you know. (And maybe tomorrow and the day after)) IM SORRY
"Hm?" He says turning to her, not realizing he was speaking Korean. It was a bad habit of his that he didn't really feel like breaking.
"Your speaking gibberish again." Zara pointed. "Chinese or Koran. English please."
"It's Korean. And sorry I was lost in thought." He says with a sigh, raking his fingers through his honey golden hair, the sun shining on it. Pursing his lips into a fine line before taking a deep breath and turning back around to face the possibility of death.
