Wren took a deep breath. "Uh… She… See… Well…"

Wren sighed. "Your mom was a doctor for HUSOS, it's s bad acronym, I know. But it stands for Hidden Underground Society Of Supers. She worked in the 'Developmental' section. She researched how supers could be created by paranormal shifts in the genes. Other such shifts could cause mass destruction. Well, Doiniel (oof, sorry. I cannot spell his name) wanted the research to destroy supers. He broke into the lab and killed people. I… I was on duty that night. I own your mother an in payable debt. He was about to shoot the research. I jumped in front of it. Knowing that I could fight, your mother jumped in front of me." Wren wiped at her eyes. "I… It's !y fault that your mother died. Not you. Everything she did was top protect you. And that 's why we're not going to get Lolita back."

Lolita slammed herself against the glass. Over and over and over and over and over.

"You don't deserve to say my name," Lolita muttered darkly under her breath. She tried kicking, but her legs weren't fully healed.

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Don’t deserve- I have ever right, you disgusting super.” He spat, “Say anything you’ll regret and you can see how bad I can be.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Turn it on.” He instructed to the guard. He nodded and flicked a switch, the liquids at the top bubbling away and turning red. They then travelled down some clear tubes before tuning into gas, then flickering like a light. Deiniol smirked and watched as the red electricity bounced in the cell, hitting Lolita from every angle.

It was so sudden. Her voice didn't even sound like her own. It was grated and raspy in her throat, which made for a horrifying scream. She couldn't see anything beyond the blazing red. It hardly seemed like she was breathing, but her lungs felt like two ten pound weights in her chest.
