@Mr.Misfit
(Woah)
Dylan stepped in front of the newcomer, revealing himself as he did so. "He's been punished enough, man. Relax."

“I was trying to help,” Vaughn snapped in his frustrated state. How was he supposed to know that the man wouldn’t have shot Avery? This is exactly what he got for trying to be friendly to these people. He tried to trust them and help them on their little quest, and he was taken for some goddamn idiot. What did we tell you, Finley?, the whispers growled. His fingers dug into the dirt under him from the light headed feeling that washed over him. He felt completely exhausted, and all he wanted to do was rest. But he knew that if he did, he might not wake up. And hell, if Kaz hadn’t shown up, he probably would have let himself fade away.
(lol yeah Kaz is that one protective friend)
Kaz scowled, whipping around. He thought he had noticed someone else's electrical field, but wasn't quite sure. Resolving to stay silent he shuffled a little closer to Vaughn, scowl deepening as he tried to see how bad his injury was
“You look mad,” Vaughn choked out, turning his head away to spit out a bit of blood into the ground. He looked back up at Kaz, eyes squinting. He still thought there was the possibility that he was passed out and none of this was real. Not that it would have been a surprise, his mind came up with some horrible tortures.
"No shit sherlock," Kaz mumbled, sitting back a little as he realized Vaughn probably wasn't going to die. "Not mad at you though, mad at what's his face over there," he said, pointing a thumb in the direction of the blinded man. "Why didn't you call me? I could have helped with whatever just happened."
“I didn’t want to drag you into this,” Vaughn murmured, grabbing some of the medical supplies away from Avery. He tried to remember what a friend had taught him, but his mind felt very hazy. He could close his would, but he wouldn’t be able to fix any internal damage.
"Here, let me do that," Kaz mumbled, taking the supplies away from Vaughn gently. He took out a piece of gauze, pressing it gently on the bullet wound before wrapping it in place with bandages. "Look, if you're ever in trouble you can call me. You know that, right?" he said quietly once he had finished with the supplies
Vaughn hissed slightly in pain when Kaz touched him. He nodded a bit in response to his question. He slowly adjusted so he was sitting down next to Kaz. There was a small feeling in the back of his mind that he would get a bunch of crap from Avery and Dylan for being so laid back and happy around a ‘stranger’ and not them. But it was so different. He loved Kaz, and he would freely say it.
Kaz moved so he was sitting down next to Vaughn. He wrapped an arm around him, beginning to hum quietly out of habit. He glared at the blinded man, irritated that someone had dared shoot Vaughn. If other people weren’t here, he probably would have electrocuted him where he sat
Vaughn smiled lightly, leaning against Kaz. He looked over at Kaz and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek. “Thank you,” He murmured, reaching over to rest his hand over Kaz’s.
Kaz’s frown quickly turned to a smile. “You’re welcome,” he hummed happily, turning his hand so it was holding Vaughn’s instead of it just resting on top of his
(I can be a villain, but I'll need to make another character)
Vaughn gave a soft chuckle, seeming in a much better mood. He could easily say that he was obviously more comfortable around Kaz than he was with Avery and Dylan. They just shared a stronger bond. “Love you,” He murmured, pecking the tip of Kaz’s nose.
(I can be the villain, If the spots still open…)
Kaz chuckled softly, a dorky grin crossing his face. “Love you too,” he said before pecking Vaughn on the cheek. He was glad to be of some help with helping Vaughn feel a little better. After all, getting shot was not the most pleasant thing
Vaughn shifted a tad and rested his head on Kaz’s shoulder. He took in a few slow breaths, trying not to think about his wound. But that didn’t turn out too well. “We need to check for internal damage. What if something important got hit?”
“Well, there’s always going to the doctor. But with our reputations that might not go down very well,” Kaz said, frowning slightly in thought. “Maybe I could call Cas?” he suggested
(I can be the villain, If the spots still open…)
I do believe it is.
“Mhm, they’d call the police.. And Cas? He’s back in America, right? And hey, what the hell are you doing in Africa, anyways?” Vaughn questioned, lips pursing as he looked at Kaz.
“Well Cas can teleport, first of all. Secondly I’m here on a job. Erik was here hunting a wendigo for a friend but she wanted my help when she found a whole nest of them,” he explained
“Seriously? You better not get hurt, both of us don’t need to be injured,” Vaughn said, expression turning concerned.
“Don’t worry, we already took care of it. The perks of having control over lightning make it ridiculously easy to deep fry things that hate fire,” Kaz said, flashing a small smile
Personally, a villain who works behind the scenes and never shows themselves, just has a bunch of henchmen. It gives a good sense of dread. You don't need to do this, it's just friendly advice.
Vaughn chuckled a bit and slowly shook his head. “It’s adorable when you try and act all badass,” he hummed, pecking Kaz’s lips quickly.
Kaz pouted, sticking his tongue out at Vaughn. “I’m not trying to act badass, I am badass!” he huffed. “How many people do you know that can cause entire electrical storms?”
