(I like how they are so calm and then there’s Vaughn just casually bleeding out on the ground lol)
(Dylan is anything BUT calm at the moment.)
"Dead is out of the way, Avery," Dylan said, his voice cold and laced with hatred.
He felt the man struggling against his grip. It was an odd, almost surreal sensation, considering he wasn't actually holding him. But the touch of Avery's hand on his arm was very real, and so was the blood that covered one of her hands.
He did this. Punish him!
We don't need him dead, just… out of the way.
Dylan brought the man closer until he was almost touching him for real. His right palm, still aglow, was mere inches away from his face.
"Look away, Avery. I don't need you to be blind as well."
Avery studied Dylan's face for a moment before she let go of his arm and took a step back. She turned towards Vaughn, just now fully realizing what had happened to him. With her hand still pressed to her side, she bent down to him, flinching as she did so.
"How can I help you?"
(aight here's my boi)

Other: Half demon (which is why he has a kinda second personality), has electricity powers but doesn't like to use them, owns a motorcycle, has a faint German accent
(Yesss Kaz)
“How can you help me?” Vaughn repeated with harsh laughter.
“Just f*cking blow my brains out,” he said, coughing as he pushed himself to his hands and knees, a hand pressed to his heavily bleeding stomach.
(oh god I was planning on having Kaz show up by hearing the gunshot but I had a better idea
whatifKazandVaughnalreadykneweachotherandweremaybedatingalso)
(Yes yes yessss, great idea)
"I'm not doing that, Stupid," Avery shot back. "Now, you can tell me how to help you or I can ask Dylan to help you. And I'm honestly not sure how well that would go, currently."
(aight just gonna yeet Kaz into here. are they in an alleyway or something?)
(They're actually in Botswana, lol. It's a long story.)
(okay, setting please? like where in Botswana are they?)
“I have medical supplies packed back at the truck,” Vaughn said, tone growing more uneasy. Was it just him, or was the world rocking back and forth? Man, he felt so tired too.
(They’re like on the coast, they just arrived and are in a nearby area of woods)
(aight just gonna have Kaz casually bust in)
Kaz parked his motorcycle along the side of the road, frowning as he looked around for where he had heard the gunshot. He took his helmet off, setting it on the old bike's handlebar and began to tromp through the woods towards the coast. It reminded him a little bit of home, actually. He squinted at what looked like a group of figures on the beach, their electrical signatures unfamiliar. All but one. He would recognize Vaughn anywhere. He began to run towards them, waving his hands. "Vaughn! Vaughn!" he called out
"Okay," Avery said simply as she straightened back up. She winced again, hoping that all this movement wouldn't make the gash in her side even worse.
As quickly as she could, she walked to the truck, leaning against it for support as she reached it, and grabbed the medical supplies. After a few deep breaths, she went back to Vaughn.
"Got them," she stated, dropping the bag next to him and carefully sitting beside it. "Now what?"
“You just need to-“ Vaughn was cut off when he heard a voice calling his name. He blinked a few times, looking up at the familiar boy. “Kaz?” What the hell was he doing there? He was probably seeing things.
May I join?
(Sure! There's a form up a few posts.
One last person, I think, and we'll be set.)

Dylan let out a flash of light that blinded the poor man. He fell to the ground, crying, begging Dylan to help him. But he didn't even bother looking back, instead sprinting to catch up with Avery and Vaughn.
When he arrived, though, he instead found Avery working with the medical supplies, trying to help Vaughn. And then there was this guy running towards them. Red hoodie, black jacket. The hint of tatoos. And he was calling Vaughn's name.
Dylan cloaked, praying the newcomer hadn't yet seen him.
Kaz almost tripped trying to get to them. He squinted. Was Vaughn laying down? He slowed to a jog as he got closer and almost did a double take as he realized the other guy was hurt. "Vaughn? Vaughn, what the hell did you do to yourself?" he half shouted, moving to crouch down next to him
Avery looked at the newcomer, studying him for a moment before she went back to digging through the bag of medical supplies.
"He was trying to help me, but foolishly thought that doing as that guy–" She gestured to the now-blinded man."–asked would be a good idea and set down his gun. Then he got shot, obviously."
Kaz seemed to grow angry almost immediately. "You are a complete and total idiot," he huffed, pointing at Vaughn as he tried not to yell at him. He then turned to the blinded man, small sparks of pale purple electricity arcing across his skin. "And you! How dare you try and shoot him!" he yelled loudly. "I should fry you like a damn onion ring!"
