@Mr.Misfit

(I am questioning how you guys even put up with me and my schedule from hell…
Also, may I reccomend opening this when we get to Botswana? Might be a good time to implement new characters.)

Dylan rested a reassuring hand on Avery's shoulder, "It'll be fine, you'll see. We'll get there, find the stone, and smash these guys into the ground."

He was aware he sounded silly and childish, but his foolish optimism normally had the effect of either making people smile lr encouraging others. He decided to take advantage of it.

(Psh, I live. Personal life is more important then Notebook, no matter how much I wish it wasn't true…
Sounds like a good idea!)

Avery jumped at Dylan's sudden appearance, then gave him a weary smile.

"Thanks. We should get back now, huh?" she questioned, sliding into her seat.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Lol, Dylan… XD)

As soon as the group got back to the cabin, Avery sighed tiredly and climbed out of the car. She waited for Vaughn to unlock the door before going inside and sitting on the couch.

"Plan time," she declared. "When are we leaving for Botswana, what are we going to do when we get there, and what are our backup plans?"

Vaughn didn’t respond to the question, the pessimist in him reminding him that there would always be a counter to his idea. He went into the kitchen area, still in hearing distance, as it was a very open floor plan. He poured himself a glass of water, drinking it slowly as he looked out the kitchen window.

@Desvelarse pets

“Do we actually know where this stone is in Botswana?” Vaughn asked, finishing the rest of the water quickly. He set the empty cup down in the sink, telling himself to remember to wash it later. He didn’t know anything about this stone. No one told him what it looked like or what it could do, and he didn’t take it as he never asked or they forgot. No, his mind ran it through that they didn’t need his help with it, and his mouth pulled into a tense line.

"I've got no idea. Len– Ari didn't tell me that much about it, but I think there was some information on the laptop she had," Avery responded to both questions. "Just a sec." She went to where Ari had kept the laptop, then grabbed it and sat back down on the couch. "Here. This should hold some information."

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Sometimes I wish I had Thea's power, Avery thought as she skimmed the information on the computer. Then I'd be done in less than half the time this is going to take.

@Mr.Misfit

Dylan subconciously slipped an arm around Avery as he looked to the screen. She seemed to be doing alright, but Dylan decided to offer his help anyway. "Need a hand?"

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Gah! Sorry, my power went out and then I was gone!)

Avery shot a glance up at Dylan as he slipped his arm around her, giving him a slight smile.

"Please. There is so much here, I don't know how Ari went through it so quickly," she declared.

@Mr.Misfit

Nudging the computer into his view, Dylan got to work on the files. It was all rather organised, folders upon folders upon folders of information stored away in the most aggravating of patterns. Whoever this belonged to had been a terribly stingy organization freak.

After quick-filing a few files with nothing new, he came upon a pdf labeled "Possibilities." Dylan opened it and was met with a map of Botswana, red circles around various locations.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

"What in the world…" Avery muttered, staring at the map. "That cannot be good." As she looked at the map, she noticed a dot in the northwest. Pointing to it, she said, "There. That's our destination."

@Mr.Misfit

Dylan frowned, not quite grasping her reasoning. "Why? Why there? We have one.. two… three four five, five possible places at least. Why that one?"
