She lifted her head and her breath got caught in her throat seeing how close he was " oh uh I was um well " she stuttered turning a light shade of pink.

Travis, of course, only blushed more. "Studying the dirt?" he joked, knowing he was probably being indescribably awkward.

She blushed a darker shade 'good God this boy would kill her' she thought.

"So…" he trailed off awkwardly. "Not studying the dirt, then?" Travis was so close that he could reach out and touch her if he wanted.

She giggled "no of course not" she said

Travis laughed with her. "I was kidding," he said. "Though I'm glad that you found it amusing." He smiled at her again.

She smiled at him she leaned in and left a lingering kiss on his cheek

Travis felt his face go even redder, and put a hand up to touch the spot she’d kissed. He glanced back at her, somehow surprised despite the fact that he definitely wanted to kiss her.

" sorry " she mumbled.

“No, don’t—don’t apologize,” Travis replied. He stood there for a moment, running his hand through his hair nervously. “Um, can I kiss you?”

She blushed, " um yeah" she said. God she sounded like an idiot

She started to panic slightly, but she kept herself composed. "Okay Cain, tell me what to do to help you and I'll do it. If anything I can stay here with you" she says taking a deep shaky breath.

"I don't..I don't want to hurt you." Cain wheezed as his body flinched. The bones in his back let out a sickening click as they ground together. The pain would fade sooner or later, he had dealt with it countless times before, but it had never hit him during the day when he was actually around people. "I'm starving Ari.. I don't think much can be done to help."

She blushed, " um yeah" she said. God she sounded like an idiot

Travis smiled fleetingly, before looking nervous again. He took another step toward her, closing the distance between them. Then he leaned in and kissed her.

She kissed him back gently.

He put his hands on her waist, moving his mouth against hers softly. This was a bit fast for him, but somehow he couldn’t resist. He could feel her energy, and for a moment he was tempted to steal some energy. It would be so easy…but he didn’t. He broke off the kiss, pulling back and looking at Tyler. He brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, smiling nervously at her.

Tyler bit her lip and looked at him

Travis blushed again, looking into her eyes. “That was amazing. You’re amazing,” he whispered.

Tyler blushed and looked down to hide it.

Travis glanced away for a moment, unsure what was supposed to come next. He didn’t get close with many girls, being an energy vampire with a dangerous family and all, but Tyler was different. She could handle it. Hopefully.

She stood there unsure what to do any guy she got close to she was scared because she would end up hurting him but Travis was different hopefully he can handle it

Travis gave her a small smile. “So, what happens now?” he asked, genuinely unsure.

She looked up at him " what do you want to happen " she asked fidgeting with her thumbs.
