"Neil." He patted Marcus's head. "This is Marcus." Said boy swatted the satyr's hand away, briefly glaring at him over his shoulder.
"Neil." He patted Marcus's head. "This is Marcus." Said boy swatted the satyr's hand away, briefly glaring at him over his shoulder.
He laughed quietly at the exchange. "I'm excited to learn more about supernatural powers and such, I've never really gotten a change to learn about it until now."
"Yeah, me too. Marcus and I rarely see other magical, supernatural beings that aren't animals, so a whole freaking academy full of 'em is…interesting." Neil shifted a bit. "But it should be fun, I guess. Marcus seemed pretty excited, despite being a little lamb about even coming into the building."
"At least we don't have to hide here." He mentioned putting his elbow on his desk and leaning forward, supporting his head with his hand.
Neil chuckled under his breath. "You right." He tilted his head a little. "Hey, so like, just what kind of powers do ghosts have? I've watched plenty of supernatural spirit-y stuff, but, y'know, can't believe everything you see on TV."
"Hm, well it's not entirely far off flying, going through things, going invisible. That kind of thing." He answered a light smile on his face. "What are you?" Min Joon asked.
"A satyr, and Marcus is a faun. Not a lot of satyr-faun relationships where we come from, by the way. Most of us hate each other because of, like, differing morals and crap." Neil scoffed at the memory.
"Oh neat, I guess it's nice that you both get along."
Neil smiled and nodded. "Yeah, we've been best friends since we were little, so, y'know. What about you? Any family or friends that go here, too?"
"No I came here on my own." He answered
Bedros paid literally no attention to the teacher, looking at Jamie's art, he gasped.
"Wow! That's very good!" He replies.
Jamie blushed. “You think so?” he asked with a smile. “Too bad it’s on the syllabus and not my actual sketchbook.”
"Yes, I do!" Bedros replied, as the teacher directed them down to another portion of the syllabus.
Jamie grinned, happy that Bedros liked his art. “Do you want to see my sketchbook?” he asked.
Bedros tried and failed to contain his excitement!
"UmMm YeS!!!" He squeaked.
"No I came here on my own." He answered
"Mm." Neil nodded. "Well then, maybe we can hang out later?"
Min Joon smiled "I'd like that."
Neil smiled back, then turned to the front of the class, though he was still messing with Marcus more than paying attention to the teacher.
Min Joon leaned back in his chair, still not really paying attention.
Bedros tried and failed to contain his excitement!
"UmMm YeS!!!" He squeaked.
Jamie smiled and grabbed it out of his bag. The front was covered in stickers and doodles that he cut out and taped there. He handed it to Bedros. “This is my child, so be careful.”
Bedros noted, humbly, and took things gently in his hands, blushing as his fingers brushed with Jamie's.
He carefully flipped through it, admiring some of the things that Jamie had made. He looked up, smiling respectfully.
Jamie blushed as well, watching Bedros look at his art with a slight bit of apprehension. “What do you think?” he asked, a somewhat nervous smile on his face.
Bedros calmly and kindly handed him his Sketchbook back.
"W-wow, pretty and an artist…" he replied, before covering his mouth with a hand, blushing. He couldn't believe he'd actually let himself slip up and say that.
Jamie’s face went red, and he took the sketchbook back. He glanced at Bedros, smiling a little. ‘He called me pretty,’ he thought excitedly. “Thanks,” he managed to say out loud.
(They're so pure oml)
Bedros managed to give him a wink, still kicking himself for having said that, before going back to the syllabus. Reluctantly.
