Finn left the bathroom and got his bag ready. He then sat at the foot of the bed lightly shaking Jay.
Jay flinched slightly at the shaking, eyes flying open.
Finn quickly moved his hand away when he noticed Jay’s flinch. “Sorry just wanted to check on how you’re feeling. We don’t have to go to school today if you don’t want to,” Finn said.
Jay blinked, sitting up. "I-it's okay." he said softly. He ran a hand through his hair. "I…probably should go to school. I can't miss too many classes."
“Are you sure? I don’t want you walking around if your ribs hurt. I could get you a doctors note,” Finn suggested.
"I'll be okay." Jay replied, getting off the bed and finding his clothes.
Finn nodded. “Ok fine but keep it easy and use the elevator if you can,” Finn said standing up.
Jay nodded, and grabbed his clothes, heading to the bathroom.
Finn woke up Poppy and got her dressed for school.
Jay came back out of the bathroom, dressed for school. "Thank you for this." He said softly.
“It’s no problem you don’t need to keep saying thank you,” he said walking over and kissing him lightly.
Jay kissed him back, looping an arm around Finn and tugging him closer.
Finn smiled into the kiss before pulling away. “There’s a breakfast thing downstairs if you want to grab something quickly before heading out.”
Jay swallowed, and nodded a little bit. "Alright."
Finn nodded and held both of their hands as they walked out. "Can I get a waffle?" Poppy asked smiling wide. Finn had left his clothes and not school bag in the room.
Jay twined his fingers with Finn's, letting out a breath. "Thank you for doing this for me." He said quietly, kissing Finn's cheek.
Finn nodded and turned his head connecting their lips. "I love you. you dont have to keep saying thank you," He said.
Jay shrugged a little. "Yeah I do. You left your house, at night, to pick me up and take me here." He replied softly, leaning his head on Finn's shoulder for a moment.
“It’s fine they have a pool. I should bring poppy down tonight. I want to teach her how to swim,” He said. Poppy heard and smiled wide. She was skipping next to Finn.
Jay smiled a little bit. "Oh. That does sound fun." He agreed.
Finn nodded. “I’m guessing you didn’t pack swim trunks?” Finn asked in a teasing manner.
Jay's lips curled into a smile, and he laughed a little. "No."
Finn nodded. “I’ll get you some. I think they sell them in the gift shop,” he said gripping his hand again.
Jay nodded, holding onto Finn's hand. "Okay." He replied softly. "Thank you."
“No problem,” Finn said kissing him on the cheek.
