"You told me you wanted to talk. I assumed it would be about something like this," Finn said unclenching his fist.
"You told me you wanted to talk. I assumed it would be about something like this," Finn said unclenching his fist.
"Oh." Jay took a small bite of the sandwich. He had noticed the clenched fist, but hadn't said a word.
Finn ate his sandwich. Quickly finishing it and bringing his dish to the sink. He stayed silent, not sure what to say.
Jay ate his sandwich. He crossed his ankles under the chair.
Finn washed his dish not really wanting to leave the room.
Jay finished eating, and brought his plate over to Finn. "Here." he said.
"Thank you," Finn said taking the plate. His hand brushed against Jays. He set his washed dish on the drying rack.
Jay nodded, and bit his lip at the touch. Part of him ached to reach out and take Finn's hand, but another part knew it would only cause trouble.
Finn's hand was glowing brightly. He wanted things to just be normal. So he could hold his soulmate hand and he and Jay could be happy. He finished up the dishes avoiding looking at Jay.
Jay swallowed, and stepped back to try and control his urge to take Finn's hand.
Finn finished the dishes and turned to face Jay. Staring at him for a few seconds like he's going to say something but he just walked to the living room. His backpack leaned against the couch and he picked it up sitting down.
Jay blinked, then followed Finn after a moment. He knew he had homework, but to be honest…he had only been in that one class the first hour, and had missed just about everything.
"I took notes for you the day you missed school," Finn said taking his notebook out.
Jay looked up, and blinked. "Oh. Thank you." he said softly.
Finn took out his notes and handed them to Jay. He went through his bag for his homework.
Jay took the notes and looked at them carefully, going over the information that he had missed.
Finn also handed him a paper. It was the homework from that class. "I had her give me your homework too."
"Oh. Thank you." Jay said quietly, looking at the notes and homework carefully.
Finn sat on the couch and started doing his homework.
Jay started working on the homework carefully.
Finn tried to focus on his homework but He kept looking at Jay out of the corner of his eye.
Jay kept working, lip caught between his teeth in concentration. He didn't notice Finn looking at him.
Finn smiled softly as he brought his focus back to his work. “Hey what did you get for question 2 I don’t understand,” He finally speaks up a few moments later.
Jay blinked. "Oh, uhm…" He showed his paper to Finn. "I think I got it. I'm not sure."
Finn looked over it. “Yeah that looks right. Thanks!” He said writing something down.
