Kaitlin quickly put a more sutible jacket on and her shoes before heading to the door, “There’s a nice shop not too far from here.”
Kaitlin quickly put a more sutible jacket on and her shoes before heading to the door, “There’s a nice shop not too far from here.”
"Lead the way." He indicated with his arm toward the door.
Kaitlin smiled before opening the door and shutting it behind them both once they were out. Buttoning her jacket up, she led them towards the store.
Isaac followed her, excited to get some new nice stuff to wear.
"Why didn't you bring a bag of clothes or something?" Kaitlin asked, looking up at Isaac.
"I wanted a fresh start. I don't know. Just wanted to try it out." Isaac shrugged.
“Huh… I guess that’s cool. We can go shopping properly another time.” Kaitlin gave him a smile.
"Cool. As long as I get to spend time with you" He smiled and looked back at her.
Kaitlin smiled back but there was a light pink tint to her cheeks, “Here we are.” She said, walking into a nice looking store.
Isaac looked around and quickly picked out a nice outfit. He bought it then went to a changing room and put it on. He stepped out. "Tadah!"
Kaitlin giggled, "It looks great, we won't be there too long, so no one is really going to care. But you still look handsome."
Isaac laughed and combed his hand through his curly hair. "Alright let's roll."
Kaitlin nodded and took his hand in hers, leading them back the way they came, past her house and to the church.
Isaac held her hand gently and smiled to himself.
“What are you smiling at?” Kaitlin asked, looking up at the other.
"Oh nothing." He said, smiling a little more.
Kaitlin frowned slightly, “Okay then…”
Isaac frowned as well. "I'm sorry. I just thought it would be repetitive if I constantly told you that I still can't believe I found you. I didn't mean to upset you." He touched her face with one finger gently. "Chin up!"
Kaitlin smiled and shook her head, “You sound like my brother, and you didn’t upset me, I was just curious was all.”
"Good." Isaac smiled once more, content with his place in her life.
(I gtg goodnight)
(Night)
Kaitlin sighed softly, “I still can’t believe I found you either, it all sounds like a fairytale.”
Isaac nodded, then taking a more serious tone asked, "What happens if you don't find the person before the year is up?"
Kaitlin shrugged, "Well, The Dreams stop coming all together, I think."
"Oh. Well it's a blessing I made it in time." He said.
