"No, what? I might have heard the same thing," Camie said, pulling into her driveway.
"No, what? I might have heard the same thing," Camie said, pulling into her driveway.
"It was just the wind! I promise." Tiffany said, putting her bike away.
"Okay. You know that I just want to annoy you, right?" Camie grinned, propping her bike next to Tiffany's.
Tiffany smiled back at her friend. "Yes, I am aware."
"Okay then!" Camie lead the way into her house. Explosions came from upstairs, followed by yells. Camie's breath hitched. "Ugh, Chris and Malcolm have been so addicted to Fortnite lately, so sorry about that…"
(I like, completely changed Tiffany's backstory and stuff……lol)
Tiffany snickered. "It's fine." She said as she rolled her eyes. "Maybe we should have brought Isaiah, he's been pretty obsessed with it too….."
"USE YOUR PUMP HE'S RIGHT THERE!!!!!"
"Boys, be quieter!" Keri called from her office. Camie motioned for Tiffany to follow her as she ascended the stairs and went into her mom's office.
"Hey, mom?"
" Oh, Camie. You're home. "
"Yeah. Tiffany's going to sleep over tonight, okay?"
Tiffany gave a small wave to her bestie's mom, who had basically become her second mom.
Keri's face relaxed. "Oh hi, Tiffany. How's your mom?"
Tiffany frowned. "I-I don't know."
Keri's eyes grew worried. "What do you mean?"
"Mom…" Camie said warningly.
Tiffany scrunched her nose up. "My parents are getting divorced."
"Oh, honey, I'm sorry," Keri stood up from her desk.
Tiffany shrugged.
"Mom, we're going to go in the basement."
"Okay then. Have fun girls!" She gave Tiffany a sympathetic look.
Tiffany simply held her arms out for a hug.
Keri have Tiffany a tight hug. She stroked her hair gently.
Camie rolled her eyes with a smile and waited.
"If you girls need anything, just let me know," Keri said, releasing Tiffany and heading back to her desk
Tiffany nodded. "Okay." Then she followed Camie.
"See what I mean?" Camie insisted, peeking into her brothers room quickly.
Tiffany nodded, peaking her head over Camie's.
"GET 'EM! GET 'EM!" Chris yelled at Malcolm.
"Shut up!" Malcolm yelled back, his fingers slamming the controls. " I'm trying! "
"Try harder," Chris retorted.
Tiffany rolled her eyes. "Wow guys. Just wow."
Both boys were too busy to respond or even look at the doorway.
Tiffany shook her head. "Okay, let's go."
