(Lol. My brain is, with lack of a better description, organized chaos, lmao!)
(Um… I don’t know. Are we? Lmao! I think this is usually what happens to longer length rps)

Goldergon chuckled. The battle between Chaos and Order, and whether they shall escape the watchful gaze of Balance, or only deepen the trap upon themselves. And, don’t worry, my dear, few can truly understand the Vanisher mind, but you have done quite well so far.

Goldergon sensed her mind open and curiously reached in, seeing the image. He grinned. I have quite a few bodies, or forms, if you wish to call them such, that appear like that.

Goldergon smiled slyly. Shall I demonstrate how mountains bleed?

He heard the others as well, eagerly grinning. Goldergon vanished, becoming invisible, and approached the hikers in a different way, flanking them. He sent a telepathic signal to Zai, so she’d know where he was, then teleported behind the hikers, stalking them with ease.

(Just chaos in here, lmao!)
(I dunno. I've never really done one of these before. Just, it seems a little time bending. Do Vanishers not have a sense of time like the rest of us do?)

Ah… Zai murmurs, understanding now. Oh, I'm not understanding so much as thinking like a Vanisher.

"None, I believe, so graceful as this. And I should know. I've seen a lot of them.* she grins.

That would be enjoyable, yes. she says.

Zai feels the telepathic signal, it registers, and she grins murderously. 3… 2… 1… now. she says, pouncing on the nearest of the group. Her form ripples and shifts as she flows through the air, and she catches the man in the chest.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Lol)
(Yeah, it does that. And, actually, no. They don’t even have a sense of age, or even numbers. To them, 5 and 500 is the same thing. But… as you will see, they are also contradictions. As in, they have no concept of time, age, or numbers, but they also do)

And how would you know how a Vanisher thinks? Most of a Vanisher’s mind can never be seen by another, by default. Goldergon seemed genuinely curious, but there was also something else in his eyes, something slightly darker.

Ah, I see. You favor the image over me. He grinned teasingly. But, every body I have, whether you have seen them or not, has grace. You know this.

Ooh… wonderful. After the hunt then, a perfect ending.

At the end of Zai’s countdown, Goldergon lunged forward, still invisible, and snapped a man’s neck, then literally ripped his head right from his shoulder. Blood sprayed Goldergon from both the head and the body, soaking him, and he hissed in delight, the sound audible in his mind.

Then, he threw the head at another hiker and leaped upon him, becoming visible as his bare feet connected and the man crashed into the ground. The man almost immediately started to cry, and Goldergon scraped a foot along his back, curved devilish claws replacing toenails and tearing flesh. And the fun was only beginning.

Deleted user

(Ah, interesting. Very interesting, actually.)
(Twists right out of hell are fun, no?)

Zai notices the slightly darker look and grins. I know you, and you are one of the Elders. I have known you since those early days, remember? I know better than most how you think, and by extension most Vanishers.

Not so. I enjoy the violent beauty of all your forms, not just the one in my head. she murmurs, laughing slightly. I have seen most, though. Who or what have you met since the last time we met?

Indeed… she hisses.

The man that Zai had lunged towards herself falls back, and a spray of crimson, thicker than wine, brighter than ruby, stains the mountainside as her hand slashes across his throat. The man gasps, the ragged, torn flesh flapping wth each of the man's numbered breaths. The next person, a woman, gets torn apart from the toes up, her silent screams echoing in the numerous valleys. Once that one dies, she goes to the last remaining person and rips him in half. She's coated in blood and gore by the end of this.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Sly grin)
(Indeed. And Vanishers are full of them, lol)

Completely unfazed, Goldergon cooed, pleased. He chuckled. Yes, I recall. And it fascinates me all the time. You are the only creature I met in my youth that I have not killed. And you have never given me reason to.

Goldergon grinned. I am glad. And… I have met a few others. His grin became sly.

Goldergon’s toes ripped deep gashes into the man’s back, then his fingers tore those gashes apart until there was barely anything resembling a human back left. He heard the mental panicking from the man and grinned wide as he started snapping ribs. He then tore out two ribs, sticking them in the man’s head to make large bloody horns.

Afterward, Goldergon stood and brutally stomped on the man’s hips, shattering both sides. The sheer agony that radiated off the man was intoxicating. So, he moved to his feet, and dug in them, expertly cutting out the tendons and stashing them in a pouch on his belt. The mental cries of utter helplessness made Goldergon laugh, soundless or not.

The man still had life left in him after all this, but Goldergon wasn’t sure if he wanted to end it now, or let the man suffer. A moment of indecisiveness inspired him, and he crouched low in front of the man, so he could watch his victim die.

Deleted user

(Grins back)
(I can see that!)
(Also, I love your imagination! [No, that was not sarcasm, lmao!])

Why would I be fazed? Zai chuckles. I can see that… and I have never wanted to. Staying on your good side is more beneficial than being another victim.

Indeed? Who? she asks, genuinely curious.

Zai kneels in front of the man, grinning. She realizes that there is one more left, hiding. Reaching through the mountain, she pulls a silently screaming woman into view. Ah… a straggler!

Her nails extend into talons, and softly, almost tenderly, she outlines the woman's facial features: the fine bones, the thin lips, the angular eyes, the arched eyebrows… and begins the brutal, bloody work of slowly carving each part off and/or out; the hair is the first thing to go, along with the woman's scalp. Then, the woman's eyebrows and eyelids, peeled away like the skin of an orange. Her nose: flattened like a snake's nose. Her lips carved off her face. She begins the process of stripping the muscle and tendons from the woman, handing all of the latter to Goldergon, working her way down the body, creating a gruesome sculpture of bone as she works, driving each rib into the woman's skull. Somehow, she has lived until this point, and Zai knows she'll last much, much longer. By the end, nothing but the heart, lungs, eyes and brain are left on the woman, her bones creating a delicate, macabre caricature of beauty.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Evil laugh)
(Thank you. I love the gruesome parts, and biology happens to be a favorite subject of mine, evil grin. [I also love your imagination. And Goldergon does too, lol])
(Has this basically become a one-on-one now? Or what?)

It has been quite a while since we last met. I was unsure how much you remembered. And it pleases me that you remember so much. He grinned thoughtfully. He then chuckled. Of course it is, my dear. For many, many reasons. A flirtatious gleam flashed in his eyes before he turned away.

Oh. A few. Including an archangel. I enjoyed stripping him of his wings. His grin became cruel, his dull red teeth bared.

He noticed Zai next to him, then heard her call out a survivor. He grinned, but didn’t move as the man died before him. When the man finally did die, he stood and turned around without a care for the corpse.

He laughed at the sight of Zai’s work, thrilled by her artistic style, and by her presents. He stashed every tendon, except one. That particular one he played with, savoring the texture and the coating of blood. He continued to watch Zai as he fiddled with it, humming thoughtfully at the sight of her deed.

Beautiful, Zai. And she still lives, a masterpiece indeed.

(Anatomy is interesting. All of what I know comes from reading, school and researching on my own time. Plus, having the names of each major bone and muscle in the human body drilled into my head in elementary school. [Flattered Why thank you!])
(Yeah, lmao! I think at this point, Lynn has most definitely realized that if they let us do this, their characters will be… how do you say… tortured.)

Yes, it truly has been… oh, you know I remember a lot more than you give me credit for. Zai chuckles, noting the gleam in Goldergon's eyes.

Her eyes widen, and she shivers with pleasure at the thought. Oh?

She steps back, taking a moment to admire her work, then turning to Goldergon.

Why, thank you! And the most beautiful part is, she'll live for much longer.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(You’re good)
(Anatomy is indeed interesting. I have a biology book that I absolutely adore. And how about that, I have major arteries memorized [to a point. My memory sucks sometimes, lol] [Grin])
(Lmao!)

I suppose we’ll see, he hummed teasingly. He grinned at her.

Goldergon noticed her reaction and his grin grew wider. His screams, powerful enough to shatter bone, were so, so delightful to hear. His blood and tears were gold, and they poured from him like the gentle flow of wine into a glass. Such great volumes of blood, and yet such gentle flow.

You are welcome. And, the most beautiful part indeed.

Deleted user

(Wow… You know… all the major arteries? [I can definitely feel that.])

I suppose we will. Zai smirks.

Zai shivers with pleasure again. Did you save some, dear? You know how I adore the blood of the Higher Entities.

She takes Goldergon's arm once more, leaving the corpses behind. So, where to next, dear?

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(For the most part. I forget the names of a couple, but I know where they are and what they connect to, evil grin. I honestly have quite a few vampiric races, so it’s very, very useful, lmao!)

He chuckled at her response.

I saved some tendons. I had no need to save his blood, because I possess something that will last far longer, with blood of its own. He grinned slyly.

Do you not wish to see the mountain bleed first? I can show you two things simultaneously before we leave. He tilted his head inquisitively.

Deleted user

(Nice! Any sort of dark, undead race is amazing, tbh.)

Ah, well. Maybe we shall find another. Zai murmurs.

Yes, but the question is: where would we get the best view? she asks.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Evil laugh, indeed. And, actually, some of my vampiric races aren’t even undead. For example, one of them is insectile)

You are looking at another. He chuckled.

Hmm… I may know a place. Shall I carry you? He caressed her arm with his free hand.

Deleted user

(Wh- okay, more info, please!)

Zai gasps. You?

She nods. Sure, I suppose.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Lmao! Well, the insectile race is nocturnal, burned by sunlight, and has to drink blood then devour their entire victim to survive. They’re also mimics, so, despite their clearly bug-like appearance, in the dead of night one can mistake them for a strange human with glowing eyes and clicking feet)
(Honestly, they might be the only one right now. I’m not sure. Some of my races are underdeveloped, and I have a bunch of concepts in progress [That, and cannibalistic characters can make it hard to keep up with the race itself, lmao!])

Indeed.

Goldergon vanished, reappearing a few feet in front of Zai. He was now a gorgeous woman with shining pale skin, long golden hair, large pale yellow wings that towered over her by a foot, and extremely hypnotic vivid gold eyes. Her skin was unblemished and she wore a tan dress.

She grinned then vanished again, reappearing behind Zai and wrapping her arms around her, her chin resting on Zai’s shoulder.

Flight or teleportation?

Deleted user

(Gasp Love them!)
(Huh… fair enough. The Blight haven't taken to cannibalism. Yet. Evil grin)

Zai gasps, then a mischevious grin crosses her face as she thinks for a moment.

Suddenly, an angel is standing in her place. He, for the angel was a he, had pitch black skin, Zai's luminous, unnatural blue eyes and raven black hair. He was shorter than the angel in front of him by a good 2 feet, with wings that connected at his shoulder blades and down his spine to his hips. Even with his wings fully outstretched, he was shorter than the angel by a foot. He changes back to Zai. Flight, dear.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Evil laugh. Thank you. And they are one of my most developed races)
(Evil snickering. A good number of my races are naturally carnivorous anyway, and then you’ve got the oddball characters [in my stories, I broaden the definition of cannibalism to ‘eating any humanoids’, so yeah. Which, by default, makes my vampiric bugs cannibals as well, lmao!])
(Also, Goldergon’s typical form is 8’ tall, the archangel form is actually only 7’. Just to clarify. It’s tricky for me to describe height in writing for some reason. A bit weird)
(And now Zai reminds me of one of my other characters. Though, he’s aquatic, and is possibly older than Goldergon [grey area]. Grin)

Goldergon watched Zai for a moment, her eyes widening with intrigue.

Gorgeous, dear. A Midnight Angel. Is there even such a creature? Or should I ask if they still exist?

She laughed. Alright. She leaped high into the air, heading for a particularly high cliff to perch upon.

Deleted user

(I only have the Voided, the Blight, Shades and a couple other undead, whatever the hell my character Shade is and I don't remember what else. Of all of them, I know the least about Shade's race. I know the most about the Voided and Blight.)
(Snickers along with you All of my races are omnivorous, with a hard left lean towards carnivorous. [Fair enough!])
(I don't remember how tall I said Zai was, lol!)
(Really? Interesting.)

Zai laughs. Thank you. He was stunning when he died. And there used to be.

She allows herself to be picked up, and chuckles. I sense the blood, I just don't see it.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(I have a shit ton of races/creatures and all that. I have an entire multiverse, two actually, and one is only somewhat developed and the other is only a concept)
(It varies for me, but I doubt I have any herbivores, lmao!)
(By the looks of it, you never specified, lol)
(Yup. He’s an old sea serpent of sorts, and a mentor to one of my main characters)

Stunning indeed, and a perfect fit for you. She chuckled at the mention that there used to be other Midnight Angels.

Goldergon grinned, landing gently at the edge of the cliff. She unwrapped Zai, then shifted over a bit, looking out at another cliff. It is closer than you might think.

She screamed toward the other cliff. Fortunately, the silence spared both of them the sound of the ear-piercing shriek, but its power wasn’t hindered by the silence.

The cliff cracked then shattered, a massive chunk falling away. Beneath it ran several gemstone veins, and a hole opened, revealing what appeared to be an ancient lava tube.

That is the blood of the mountains. The cold and the hot. In and out.

Goldergon turned to Zai with a grin, golden tears streaking her face.

Deleted user

(Damn… I only have the one multiverse.)
(No comment, lol!)
(Well then… normally, she's about 5'4 1/2" tall. Dûnthiel is 6'10".)

Zai chuckles. She is a perfect fit for you. What was her name? she asks, indicating Goldergon's current form.

Zai grins widely, her eyes gleaming like chips of the Void. Ah…

She watches as the cliff cracks, and gasps. She reaches a hand towards it, an oily liquid coming from her eyes. Indeed… it is beautiful.

She turns her gaze to Goldergon, and shifts into her angel form again. This one's name was Dûnthíel, or Fearless in this tongue. And he was, until he met me.

@Serpentess health_and_safety language

(Yeah, I, unintentionally, expanded beyond one multiverse. In truth, I have a ‘Void’, and within this void is an infinite amount of multiverses, including the two. So… yeah… Give me another year and I’ll probably have something bigger, lmao! My brain likes to expand a lot)
(Lmao!)
(Thumbs-up)
(Also, I actually have pics of Goldergon. You want to see? Just for the hell of it)

Why, thank you. Yet, one must recall that a Vanisher’s bodies have never existed as individual entities. Besides that, though, I call this form, Ehvara.

Goldergon chuckled at her reaction, pleased. She then watched Zai, grinning.

And he is Fearless again as you, she cooed.

Deleted user

(Give me a month, and I'll give you a detailed history of the Blight in its entirety, lol!)
(Sure!)

True, but I feel it is less confusing to think of all of them as once their own beings, and you merely took their form. Zai says. She mulls the name over. Is there a translation to that name?

She giggles. Indeed, he is. If you'd like, I could give you a rundown of the forms I've aqquired since we've seen each other last.
