"Balthazar?" Asura asked.

Mike shrugged. "Sounds like some name I read in an old book somewhere."
(Aaand I gotta go too now, sorry Jen!)

The angel sighed and rolled her eyes again. "His actual name is Michael. He just gets like that when he's high. Or drunk. He's probably both right now. He had a rough day. His girlfriend dumped him for some jock douchebag, and on the day he was gonna propose no less. Poor kid's had it rough lately."

"Humans and their emotions," Asura said, sounding irritated, but he looked away to hide his expression.

"Hey, don't diss 'em too much. For being as horrible as they are, there are some good ones. Michael's one of them, and for what he's gone through I think he's doing a pretty good job at being one."

(* crawls out of the caverns of shame* Argh I'm here again finally T.T )
Mike gave him a sidelong glance. "The flaws of humanity aside, we still need to figure out how to get to our intended destination. Asura, what's the location of your temple again?"

Pluto raised an eyebrow while taking a sip of her coffee. "Temple?"

"The Caligo dimension, ten-zero-eleven-zero-zero by zero-two from galactic zero center. But without a key, there's no way we'll get there."

"Huh. I think I might have some kind of idea how to get you there. Dunno if it'll work or not. Just out of curiosity, what do you need to go to the temple for?"

Mike looked at Asura. "Do we tell her? Is there any reason to be secretive? She might be on speaking terms with our target."

"Speaking terms? I don't think I know anyone you'd be…hunting."

"I don't see a reason that we can't tell her," Asura said with a shrug. "We're hunting a demon called Zoe. She apparently eats humans, and causes quite a bit of trouble."

Pluto's eyes widened. "Oh, I'm definitely not on speaking terms with her. I am on stabbing terms with her though. C'mere a second." She started to walk down the hallway

She led them down the hall, still chugging coffee

Mike followed cautiously. "Where are we going?"

"To the war room," she said with a smile. Suddenly she stopped in the middle of the hall. "Oh, wait a second." She backed up to a door that had light shining from under it. She knocked. "Hey, uh, does the great Balthazar have my papers that I showed him earlier?"

"So, what do you know about Zoe?" Asura asked.

There was mumbled muffling from the door, followed by a loud thump. Pluto opened the door. "Michael, are you…Oh." Michael had passed out on top of a file, loudly snoring while a video game played on the tv. "Ok, looks like we'll have to wait for him to wake up."

Mike's expression became somewhat long-suffering. "You know if he's drinking and on drugs at the same time that he could be near death right now? I'm sure you know best, but just checking."
