(Okay, cool. Now Asura and Mike have to teleport)
(Okay, cool. Now Asura and Mike have to teleport)
(Yup)
(Alright, one sec)
(gtg in like two minutes)
(You'll probably miss this then, sorry)
Mike was better prepared for the sensation of teleportation now, although it was a bit different without a helicopter to ride in. He did his best to withstand the buffeting currents of energy, and if those currents were more turbulent than before, he couldn't say. Finally, the chaos died and he felt solid ground beneath him once more. He steadied himself and took a moment before taking in his surroundings.
(Sorry gotta go for about 40 minutes)
(Kay, seeya later)
Asura used the spell, but when he was thrown through the void, something felt different. It was chaotic and things felt out of place, like there was something wrong. He held his breath until it was over, and he was in one piece on a concrete floor. Looking around, he said, "This is not my temple."
"Oh, it's not?" Mike scratched his head. "I was starting to wonder. Doesn't look much like a temple."
(we should probably wait for @shinsleepy)
(probably. not sure what else we can do until they introduce their character anyway)
(Yeah, lol. We'll both be back in about an hour)
(Aw, jeez. And I'll be back an hour after that ^^; )
(If you guys get back before me and want to continue, my character will be standing silently in a corner and observing the conversation until I rejoin you ^^)
(Okay, lol. Also I was falling asleep in class and I suddenly jolted awake and almost fell out of my chair)
(lol please don't crack your head open, I'd never know what happened to you XD)
(Lol @shinsleepy would tell you if something happened to me. Even so, I'll try not to get hurt lmao)
(thanks ^^)
(Ok I'm back)
The two of them had landed not in a temple, but in a messy, rusty garage. The floor was way below them for some reason, and then they realized they were sitting on top of a large black pickup truck. A motion light flickered above them, and dim light filtered in from under the door to the house
(I'll have to go in about thirty minutes, by the way)
Mike sighed and examined his key. "Looks like we took a wrong turn somewhere." Hopping down from the truck, he listened carefully, trying to figure out if there was anyone else nearby.
As soon as he stepped down, someone burst through the door. "Alright, who the hell is in my garage at 3 in the morning, and who wants to die first?!" the person yelled. She was holding a shotgun in both hands and was clearly fuming, looking intimidating despite being in pajamas. Her eyes widened when she saw Asura still on her vehicle. "Get off of my truck, you moron!"
Asura climbed down lazily. "Put your gun down. We don't know why we're here either."
Mike held up his hands. "Sorry about trespassing, ma'am. We'll move along as soon as we know where we are."
"Oh yeah, I find that a bit hard to believe since you're…oh." She lowered her gun when she saw the aura surrounding Asura. "How do I know you're not here to kill me?"
