(Okay. So, to recap, stop me if I'm getting this wrong: Mike and Asura are going to find Lucifer so they can make Asura a god, as promised. Lucifer's in the fallen angel's dimension, so that's where they meet Pluto, as well as Asura's daughter, who's being hunted by Pluto. Correct?)
(Yup)
(cool beans. I'm noticing that, like last time, there's the slight problem where only two of us will have active characters when we start out….)
(I had to get a high score on a game bro)
(well I was thinking maybe the two of your characters could put together a plan to go to the dimension, but something goes wrong and they show up in Pluto's garage on accident)
(I'm fine with that if Jen is)
(That seems cool but I'm not sure how to do that lol)
(uhh I could have Damascus call Mike to tell him that the job is off for a bit, and then Mike cold find the demon king dude and they could teleport into the dimension after meeting up somewhere)
(How about we just dive in on that point and figure it out as we go? I'm kinda stoked for this tbh)
(that sounds lit, lets do it)
(yeah man, sounds good !)
(yayyy who wants to start I'm terrible at starting)
(I'll be Mike, maybe back at his office for the mo)
Damascus grumbled angrily. "Hopped dimensions again, again! And that key took forever to make!" The god paced around the room before pulling a smartphone from thin air. He angrily tapped a few buttons and put it to his ear
(oo he be triggered)
(ye)
Mike studied the map on his desk, a hastily sketched out diagram of his target's home city. It was important to always enter a dangerous situation with as much info as possible, and Mike wanted to be prepared. He sighed, making a small note in the map's margin about a likely-looking side road near his target's home.
His phone rang, and he picked it up. "This is Mike of the demon hunters. How can I help you?"
"This is Damascus. Your target just hopped dimensions, and I don't have a key for you to get there. It'll take me a while to make a new one, so you're unemployed until I can make a new one. The key should get you back to your dimension before it vanishes. And no, I will NOT pay for leave. Good day." He hung up and crushed the phone back into smoke
Mike glared at his phone for a moment, then grunted and set it back down. "Gods. I shoulda known not not to take a job from one. At least I was smart enough to ask for half the money up front."
Standing, he found the piece of paper that Asura had given him and dialed the number. He sat at his desk and absently tore up his map, waiting.
Abbadon picked up, confused. "This is Abbadon, server of Asura. What do you need?"
"Hey, yeah, can I talk to your boss for a second? Tell him it's Mike."
(We're going to lose connection for a while in about five or ten minutes)
"Sure thing," Abbadon said. He turned to Asura, who was a few feet away petting his lions. "Asura, it's Mike. Whoever that is." Asura's pointed ears twitched, and he snatched the cell phone from Abbadon.
"That was quicker than I thought it would be."
(Ok)
"Welp, the other job got scrapped for the moment. I've gotta get back to my place and check in on the business, but after that I'm free to honor our agreement."
Asura nodded. "Want to meet up somewhere? I can give you a key to my universe, I have an infinite amount of them," he suggested.
