Argo nodded. The walked over by the lake Cas had appeared in, where Argo stopped by the bank. He bent down, rifling through a bush before pulling out a single feather. "Got it."
Argo nodded. The walked over by the lake Cas had appeared in, where Argo stopped by the bank. He bent down, rifling through a bush before pulling out a single feather. "Got it."
"Great. Is that all you need to track him?"
Argo nodded. "We need to return to the camp for me to begin the tracking spell. I'm also a tad worried about Cassiel. They insist they're fine when they're really not, and it bothers me to no end," he said, beginning to walk back towards the jeep
"Some people won't quit until they drop," Mike remarked. "I try not to hire those people. They make for stubborn, overconfident employees who don't want to be a burden and ironically end up as exactly that: a burden. I don't know how close you are with Cassiel, but if you think he–they?–would listen to you, you may want to try talking to 'im. Like he said, there may not be much we can do, but it's always good to be open with each other."
(brb, having supper)
(back again)
(hello, I'm on temporarily) Argo sighed. "He's normally not like this. But ever since Balthazar left he's been reclusive. He's done nothing but ignore himself, and he tells me time and time again that he would rather be helping others than paying attention to his own problems. Well, nothing you can really do until he really crashes, I suppose."
(Okay) "Yeah, sometimes crashing snaps them out of it." Mike reached the jeep and got in. "Okay, back to camp we go."
Cas was currently huddled against the door of the jeep, a small bit of blood at the corner of his mouth. He seemed cold, but Argo seemed to pay no mind as he got in. Cas opened his mouth to speak, and he had to try a few times to get the words out. "Got the thing?" Argo nodded.
Mike frowned at Cas, but didn't say anything as they left the clearing, drove back to the main road, and headed up to camp. When they made it through the gates, Mike switched off the jeep and turned so he could look at Cas. "Hey buddy. You're not looking so good. Are you sure there's nothing we can do to help?"
Cas opened his mouth to respond as he got out of the jeep, but started coughing violently. "I'm fine, just the energy I used to help in the sick bay. It's fine," he grumbled. Argo gave him a look, but resolved not to say anything
"Kay," Mike said. "If you say you're fine, I'm gonna treat you like you're fine." He got out and called one of the hunters over. "Bernon, tell the captains that they'll be in charge for a while."
"Aww, you're leaving again?"
"Yep. Sorry, it's important. I'll be back as soon as I can." Turning back to Argo, Mike gave a brisk nod. "Welp, I'm ready if you guys are."
Cas scowled at the ground as they started walking. Argo looked at him before turning to Mike. "I'll need to use your radio again, if that's alright." (Gtg for a bit)
(Kay) "Go ahead, whatever you need to do."
(ok I'm here for a moment before I gtg) Cas walked with Argo back into the radio room, and they seemed to be having a conversation as to the best way to go about tracking Lucifer
(kk) Mike followed, waving goodbye to Bernon and making sure he had his knife with him.
(Off to bed, seeya tomorrow! ^^)
