(goodnight :))
(back again)
(hello)
(hey)
(goood morning)
(ahem sorry, got pulled away unexpectedly. Yo!)
(hi, I forget who's turn it is)
(Um, anybody but me, I believe. We were just starting to walk again)
(yours)
(ok) Pluto began to walk down the path, trying to think of a way to get past the centaurs safely. Would they be able to just walk through? Would they have to sneak around?
It seemed they would be able to simply take the path through the herd. No centaurs were directly blocking the way, and they had calmed down again and returned to grazing. Kaiser took his time walking toward them, watching the nearest ones like a hawk.
Asura stepped forward slowly, scanning the Centaurs. He had never had to deal with them before, so he wasn't exactly sure what to do in a situation like this. "I chose a fantastic time to come back here," he muttered.
Pluto rolled her eyes, making her way through the field quietly. Her feathers bristled, watching the creatures carefully
One centaur turned toward Asura, staring at him intently. Asura tensed, flames and sparks shooting from his body in fear.
The mare narrowed her eyes at him and snorted, drawing her foal closer to her. But she didn't move to attack, and soon they had passed her by.
All went well until they were almost out of the herd. At that point, there came the sound of heavy hoof-beats from their right, and a stallion loped into view. He, unlike the other centaurs, was big and bulky, his muscles rippling with scars. He stared at them for a moment, then flattened his ears and reared up a bit. He roared angrily, and at the sound the herd shifted nervously.
Kaiser said a word that was probably a curse in his language. "It seems he doesn't like us."
Asura tightened his grip on his staff, freezing in place. "No kidding." He looked at the others. "What do we do?"
"We can't outrun him," Kaiser said quickly. "And we can not leave the path. But if we linger near his mares, he will charge. Just keep walking."
Asura hesitantly started forward. He focused on dimming his flames so that he wouldn't alarm them.
The stallion started slowly down the hill towards them, warily pausing every few steps. He drew closer and closer, until it was possible to make out the individual red flecks in his fur, and the white hairs in his black hair. He wrinkled his nose, his hands tightening into fists. His ears flicked forward, and he followed the group as they went down the path.
"Easy…" Kaiser muttered.
Pluto looked at it through the corner of her eye, still walking slowly and trying to ignore it
He was right alongside her all of a sudden, walking at the edge of the path. They could have reached out and touched each other. He still looked stiff and suspicious, but his ears were perked curiously, and he made no move to attack.
(btw who wants to get a bit hurt aka punched or kicked? I've got an open slot coming in a few seconds if anyone's interested)
(I'm fine with it but Asura might get mad and bap whatever hit him on the head with his staff)
(well we've already thrashed Pluto why not get her hurt more lol) Pluto frowned, gulping nervously. She kept walking, not daring look at its face
