"I'm just stoppin' by before work." He said, leaning back in his seat. He glanced at the TV.

He chuckles lightly, "No worries. I have to head to work anyways." he says, yawning softly.

Luno bit the inside of his cheek, still feeling bad about bothering the other. “How about I buy you something to take with you?” he offered

Adrik shakes his head, "I'm quite alright. Thank you for your concern." He says lightly. He rubs his eye tiredly before glancing at the other, "You just have a good day, yeah?" he hums, stifling another yawn.

@_sleeby_rat_

“You too,” Luno mumbled dejectedly. He walked back over to his seat, resting his head in the palm of one hand as he swirled the straw of his drink absently

@Vuclan-is-tired

Adrik heads out, yawning softly. He was so tired. He barely got anymore sleep, since he works as a waiter during the day and a god of nightmares at night. He sighs softly and begins to walk.

"Where do you work?" she asked, sifting towards him

Luno continued to mess with the straw in his drink, not entirely feeling like drinking it anymore. He probably needed the caffeine since he had barely slept in weeks, but he didn’t particularly care

Adrik makes it to work, sighing softly. "Morning." he calls, placing his apron around his waist. He washes his hands before starting to cook. it was quiet in the mornings, so he didn't have to do much.

Baz leaned back into his chair after he glanced over towards the pair of men who had spilled drinks over each other. He would have helped, but it didn't feel like it was his place. Instead, he took a few more sips of his coffee, wishing that there wasn't a rule about smoking in this cafe.

@_sleeby_rat_

Luno eventually took a sip of his coffee, not wanting the cafe worker’s hard work to go to waste. He finished his drink, though when he got up he nearly tripped and fell over his own feet

Baz's eyes flickered up from his coffee towards the man who had almost tripped over his feet, trying to stifle a small laugh. Even though they were a bit clumsy, it was kind of adorable really. He watched them for a few moments before suddenly taking interest in his coffee once again.

Luno looked in the direction of what he thought was laughter. He felt his face heat up in embarrassment, and he had to bite his lip to ignore what he was sure were tears welling in his eyes

"I own a bar down the road called the Urban Seraph." He said. "We got a built-in tattoo parlour in there too." He added, rolling up the sleeve of his coat to reveal a full sleeve tatto with various surreal things going on, centered around a red and turquoise Asiatic dragon, which serves to connect the various motifs and as the focal point.

Baz cursed himself for almost laughing, deciding that it was rude and idiotic. Instead, he forced himself to speak up and talk to the man to see if they needed any help perhaps? "You alright?" He asked, an English accent hinting through his words as his tone took on something a bit gentler.

"Let me guess…your day isn't going so well, is it?" Baz asked, leaning forward on his elbows as he rested his chin on the palms of his hands to study the man. They had a unique appearance, though he found it quite interesting to look at.

Luno shook his head dejectedly. “I’ve done nothing but mess up for the past few days,” he mumbled as he rested his head on the table

Baz nodded in understanding as he hummed in thought for a few moments. "Don't worry about spilling drinks on people, it happens to me all the time too," he explained in an attempt to make the other man feel better. He watched the other for a few moments in thought, trying to think of something to help them.

"Though, luckily for you, I'm somewhat of a chiromancer," he started, motioning towards the other's hand in order for them to hold them out. Of course, he didn't know the first thing about reading palms, but it was some sort of trick that he had used with his little sister in order to get her to open up. "Just hold your hands out, and I'll let you know what your future holds and what you can do to stop messing up." It seemed a bit random, though Baz knew what he was doing…mostly.

@_sleeby_rat_

Luno’s eyes widened a tad at the suggestion. Tentatively he held his hands out, watching the other carefully in case he tried something

"I've got tattoos, but I don't think I'd be allowed to show them in public. But I tend to show people this one…" she pulled down her leggings a little bit to reveal a love bird on her hip bone

Baz looked up towards the other for a few moments before placing his hand under their own in a way to support it. He began to act as if he were studying their palm intently, looking for any signs of the future. "It looks like everything gets better from here on out…once you meet a dark, curly-haired man in a cafe and he decides to buy you coffee since you already finished your own," Baz explained, a small grin crossing his lips as he looked up towards the other. It wasn't the future exactly, though he was planning to buy the other coffee anyways. It was just a way for Baz to start a conversation with Luno.

@_sleeby_rat_

Luno’s eyes widened a tad at that before beginning to laugh softly. “You think so?” he asked, smiling as he realized what the other had done

Deleted user

"Oh, I know so. The palm never lies," Baz answered, a lopsided grin crossing his lips as he looked towards the other man. He rummaged through his pocket and got some cash out before getting up with a quick, 'be right back,' realizing that he still needed to buy the other coffee. After a few moments, he returned with the mocha that the other seemed to have earlier, setting it down in front of them.

@_sleeby_rat_

Luno's eyes widened as the other set the coffee in front of him, and it took him a moment to register that he had put it in front of him instead of himself. "What…What are you doing?" he asked softly, golden eyes wide in disbelief

Deleted user

"Buying you coffee. I mean, that's what the future holds anyways," Baz replied with a small shrug, chuckling lightly as the other looked at him with wide eyes. "Oh, and I'm Baz by the way," he added, realizing that he hadn't even introduced himself before.
