"Yeah…yeah. You were great," Baz repeated, nodding as he looked down toward Luno, tucking a few stray strands of dark hair behind his ears. "Do you want to go bowl?" He asked, motioning towards the desk towards the other side of the arcade where they seemed to be handing out bowling shoes.
"Bowl..? Oh, bowl. Bowling," Luno said, having to take a moment to remember what bowling was. He nodded, still slightly intimidated by the game. But hey, if Baz wanted to do it, he definitely wouldn't say no
"C'mon," Baz said, beginning down the arcade towards one of the desks with a nerdier looking teenager working it. He managed to pull out a few bills and placed it on the counter before he asked for a shoe in his size, receiving it in a few moments.
"What about the other guy?" The teenager asked, brushing a few ginger curls out of his face as he motioned towards Luno, making an odd face when they noticed the other's eye and hair color.
"Oh, right. What's your shoe size, Luno?" Baz asked after a few moments, trying to brush off the way that the younger boy had looked at Luno. He hated it when people judged someone based on what they looked like. After all, he had gone through a lot of that in England, especially since he had more of an Italian look rather than pale skin and blonde hair.
Luno hid a little sheepishly behind his plushie when the teen looked at him. "Um…eight and a half, I think," he mumbled a bit sheepishly. He wasn't quite sure what his shoe size was since he usually had to deal with too big or too small of clothes and such. He hadn't gotten to go shopping in a very long time, since many of his boyfriends kept him from doing even that
The cashier gave a satisfied hum as he grabbed the shoes and plopped them down on the counter next to Baz and Luno, watching them for a few moments before he moved to the next customer. Baz grabbed his own larger shoe and headed towards a bench in order to put them on. His shoes were quite large, but he didn't seem to notice since his feet had always been big. He felt subconscious about them before, but it was something that he just got used to at this point.
Luno sat down next to him, still not letting go of his plushie even as he struggled to pull his beat-up, too-small converse off. He eventually pulled the first one off, causing him to nearly tip backwards off the bench. He fumbled for a moment before setting his shoe down and moving to the other, pulling this one off a little easier before beginning to put the bowling shoes on
(I haven't been on for a while, though I was hoping to start this backup.)
Baz put his hand on the small of Luno's back out of reflexes, attempting to support the other somehow in order to keep them from tipping backward. When they seemed to be alright, he put his hand back down quickly, running a hand through his dark hair nervously. Since when did he get flustered around people that he just met?

Luno flushed a bit when Baz caught him. "Thanks," he murmured before tying his laces. He didn't want to let go of his large plushie, but felt he probably would have to when they did this "bowling" thing
(same though.)
Baz nodded, occasionally glancing over at Luno and smiling whenever he saw that the other still hadn't let go of their plushie. Though, after a few moments, he decided to finally speak up. "Ready? I think our alley is already open," he said, pushing himself up and running a hand through his hair.
Luno nodded, still clutching the plushie to his chest as he got to his feet. He fumbled a little in the bowling shoes, trying to get used to them before walking with him
Baz began to walk towards a small bowling area near a couple other people, the area lit with neon lights. It was quite long, with pins set up at the bottom and bowling balls already ready for them. He grinned faintly at the sight, making his way towards the small screen where he placed their names in, in order to keep track of their scores. Soon enough, both of their names appeared on a screen above. "I'll show you how to play, but it shouldn't be too hard," Baz explained, making his way over towards one of the bowling balls as he glanced over towards Luno.
Luno nodded, following after him with the plushie still held to his chest. He really loved the plushie, and found that he just couldn’t let it go
"This is a bowling ball," Baz explained, motioning to the bright pink ball that he was holding in his hands. It looked a little ridiculous next to his darker clothing and hair, though he didn't seem to notice. "You're trying to roll it down this and knock all those pins down. Careful not to step onto the alley, or you'll slip. I've done it before" he added with a small chuckle, pointing towards the large strip of polished, wooden floor.
Luno nodded along, wide-eyed and curious. “Okay,” he murmured, looking a little awestruck as he looked from the ball, to the strip, then back to the ball
"I'll show you," Baz said, hoping it would clear things up a bit. He wasn't exactly the best at explaining most things. Stepping forward, he rolled the ball down with one hand, managing to knock down all the pins but two. "See? It's not too hard," he said with a rare, wide grin.
Luno nodded, giving a wide, excited grin of his own. “Can I try?” He asked, looking and sounding a lot like a little kid
Baz nodded, grabbing a lighter, bright blue ball off a rack and walked back towards Luno. Since they were new to the game and a lot smaller than himself, he decided that Luno could use a lighter ball for his first try.
Luno shifted the plushie to the crook of one arm, but found that it would be awkward to throw the ball like that. “Can you hold this for me?” he asked softly
Baz nodded, taking the plushie from Luno gingerly, knowing that they would probably appreciate it if he took care of it well. He gave Luno the ball, stepping back as he watched them throw the bowling ball.
Luno fumbled with the ball a bit, taking it in one hand before looking up at Baz. “Like this?” he asked
Baz reached down, readjusting Luno fingers on the bowling ball before he stepped back, nodding. "Like that. You'll do great," he assured him, motioning towards the lane.
Luno nodded, smiling a bit dorkily as he walked over to the lane. He did his best to aim at the middle before tossing the ball. He managed to get about half the pins down, but when he turned to walk over to Baz he slipped and fell flat on his back with a startled yelp
"Good-" Baz started, though was cut off when he saw Luno slip and fall onto his back. His eyes widened in concern as he ignored the stares from others, instead making his way over towards Luno. "God, are you okay?" He said, crouching down next to Luno in order to help them up.
Luno nodded, wincing a little as he rubbed his lower back once he had sat up. After a moment, he had started giggling. "I don't think that's how you play bowling," he laughed
"No, I don't think so," Baz agreed, his own small grin crossing his face at the sight of Luno's giggling. He helped the other up, realizing that he had never really smiled that much since he had met Luno.
