"That sounds painful," Luno said, not quite knowing that Baz meant an actual ball and pins instead of people. He didn't really know what Baz was talking about, but food did sound good
"Well, you're just knocking down plastic pins with a bowling ball," Baz explained, shrugging a bit as he looked towards Luno with a small smile. "We should probably get going if we want to get an alley," he added, looking around for some cash around the kitchen. After a few moments, he managed to grab enough, making sure to take his jacket as well in case it got cold later on.
Luno watched him get the cash, and suddenly his eyes widened. "Oh no, h-how much does it cost to get in? I don't know if I have enough money," he said frantically before reaching for his wallet
"I have enough to get both of us in. The place is cheap anyway, so it isn't expensive at all," Baz explained as he ran a hand through his messier, dark hair in an attempt to fix it, flashing Luno a small smile in reassurance.
"No, no, you shouldn't have to pay for me," Luno insisted. He finally got his wallet out of his pocket, though in his haste to do so he accidentally dropped it. He bent down to pick it up quickly before beginning to rummage through it
"Honestly, Luno, it's fine. I rarely take people out, so this should be my treat," Baz protested gently, rubbing the back of his neck as he turned to look towards Luno. He then realized that he said 'take them out,' which made it sound like a date. This wasn't a date…was it?
Luno stared at him for a moment, taken aback by his kindness. "Okay," he eventually mumbled before putting his wallet away sheepishly
"It's only a few blocks down, though it might be a bit dark when we come back," Baz said as he opened the door for Luno, waiting for the other to step into the hallway. He was worried that it might hurt his leg a bit, but he had taken his medicine earlier, so that would be enough, right? He shook the thoughts from his head, deciding that he would be fine since it was only a small walk.
Creed looked to where she had pointed, and slipped her wallet out of her purse and into his coat pocket. He shook his head. His eyes then widened. He pointed to a person who had just turned the corner, so you couldn't see what they looked like. "That's her!" He exclaimed, then took off running, shifting back into amber adult.
She smiled then went to grab her wallet “hey! Theif! Stop him!” She yelled at the man running away from her
"That's alright," Luno assured him softly. He walked out the door with him, still feeling strange about not having to pay for himself. "Thank you for being so nice to me," he added, feeling like he should voice how grateful he was
(frick, how late am I???)
(Shall I throw my Ryker into the mix?)
(Sure ladyabby, and don’t worry iris lol)
(but i need to be caught up, where the frick does this take place lmao)
(We started in a cafe but p much everyone has their own little spot now)
(cue Axtin spinning in circles- ok no)
Axtin was busy messing around with the cup in front of him. He felt exhausted but refused to get some rest. Some thought pulled at his mind getting him to stay put. It really was kind of annoying, but at least the coffee tasted good.
(Lmao I feel like my boi Bastian would get along…well with Axtin)
(oh my godddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd)
(They’re both flirty, so Bastian would highkey be all over him lmao)
(fair but isn't Bastian super dirty tho lmao)
"That's alright," Luno assured him softly. He walked out the door with him, still feeling strange about not having to pay for himself. "Thank you for being so nice to me," he added, feeling like he should voice how grateful he was
"No problem," Baz replied, releasing a faint yawn as he stepped out into the hall with Luno, leading them down the stairs and outside of the apartment once again. He felt a bit tired, though he was sure it was just from how little he had slept last night.
Luno followed after him a tad sheepishly, pushing his glasses further up on the bridge of his nose as he walked
"Have I mentioned that you look really cute in glasses?" Baz hummed, glancing down towards Luno as he continued to walk down the street with the same awkward limp in his step. He usually wasn't flirting all the time, though the comment just came out of his mouth.
