Maybe they could be cuddling in bed?
Maybe they could be cuddling in bed?
aw yeah, that’d be cute.
(Alright give me a mo to type a thing up)
Simon, enclosed within the walls of his small bathroom, pulled a pyjama shirt over his head, inhaling deeply. He was having Kaye sleep over— again— only this time completely sober. And god, was he ever nervous. Irrationally so, yes, he’d practically left marks all over the guy’s neck earlier, but somehow, he was more anxious about the foreign idea of… cuddling.
Kaye found himself sitting on the edge of Simon’s bed, the area comfortable since he had slept here the last night, though he found himself still getting nervous. He knew how to cuddle and act sweet…but somehow he found himself getting a little anxious on how to do it around the other man. Not to mention that he didn’t have any pajamas to change into either.
He spend roughly ten minutes staring at his reflection in the mirror, afraid he looked like a slob, before he told himself to snap out of it and pushed open the bathroom door. He slipped back into his room, smiling softly at the sight of Kaye. “Hey.”
Kaye’s gaze immediately found Simon, the other man’s contagious smile spreading to his own features, revealing a dimple once again. “Hey,” he repeated, turning towards the other on the bed.
Simon settled beside his… boyfriend? Smiling shyly the whole time, he reached forward and intertwined their fingers, heart swelling. “How’re you feeling?”
“Good,” Kaye hummed as he moved closer to Simon, his thumb brushing against the back of the other mans hand. God— only Simon knew how to make his heart race when they were simply sitting down next to one another.
Simon leaned forward, planting a gentle kiss on Kaye’s forehead. As much as he loved the rough kissing, these quiet moments between them were really something special, something he wanted to cherish forever. “I can lend you some pyjamas, if you want?”
Kaye nodded, a soft smile replacing his original one as Simon kissed his forehead. Though the pajamas might run a little big on him, his heart still fluttered at the thought of wearing something that Simon had. “Maybe just a pajama shirt.”
Simon thought for a moment, slipping an arm around Kaye. “I have a sweater that I sometimes sleep in if you want that.. or I could take off this shirt and give it to you. Whatever you want.”
“As much as I want to see you shirtless..I’ll take the sweater,” Kaye hummed, already flirting lightly as he leaned against Sinon.
Simon went pink, burying his face in Kaye’s shoulder. “I didn’t mean that I’d walk around shirtless..” he mumbled, flustered.
“I mean, I wouldn’t mind if you decided to..” Kaye added, laughing lightly as Simon suddenly became flustered.
“Kaye!” Simon protested, red creeping up the back of his neck. “That’s not- I don’t—“
“I’m just kidding, Simon. No need to fret,” Kaye murmured, a light smile tugging the corners of his lips up as he pressed a small kiss to Simon’s temple. Somehow, the way that the other man seemed to get so flustered made them even more adorable.
Simon leaned into the other man’s touch like a cat rubbing up against his owner’s legs. “Sorry,” he murmured, unusually bashful.
“No, don’t apologize…it’s cute,” Kaye murmured after a few moments of pause. One hand came up to run through Simon’s hair, keeping the other man close in these comfortable moments of silence.
Simon never remembered being this comfortable, this cuddly. He’d never been a touchy-feely kind of guy, but even being in the same room as Kaye made him want to wrap them both in a blanket and cuddle until they fell asleep. “You’re so warm..” he murmured, words slightly muffled by his boyfriend’s chest.
At Simon’s words, Kaye felt the urge to wrap his arms around the other, and he did, pulling the other close. They were so warm, comfortable and smelled so good that he thought he couldn’t simply fall asleep here.
Although Simon was the larger and more muscled one of the two, he had never felt safer that in the arms of the man in front of him. But even so, he forced himself to pull away, gesturing vaguely to his closet. “Let me just get you your sweater.”
Kaye nodded and pulled away, sitting up completely. He had to admit he was a little cold in his simple shirt, so perhaps Simon’s sweater would warm him up…or the thought of it being the other man’s clothing could as well.
Simon opened his closet door, feeling a fresh wave of shame as he realized that Kaye could see how meagre his belongings were. He pushed the thought away, digging around for a minute or two before emerging with a navy blue hoodie. Closing the closet door, he turned back to Kaye and tossed the sweater to him, biting his lip. "Is that okay?"
“Perfect,” Kaye replied, catching the hoodie as it landed near him. It already smelled like Simon from here, a scent that made him feel comfortable and at peace. Grabbing the sweater, he stood up and slipped it over his head, the fabric mussing his hair as it was pulled on. Sure, when Kaye looked down, the hoodie reached the middle of his thighs, but it was so comfortable that he didn’t mind.
