"Okay," River responded.
"Okay," River responded.
Marki gestured to river. " River I will be training you first, come with me.The rest of you, go back to your dorms until I call you down." He said in a sturdy voice before opening a door. "Come."
River walked through the door.
Cora wandered off when she was told to. She made her way back to the dorm, beginning to search through the few things that had appeared. She was pleased to see her fitting kickboxing gloves layed out on the bed.
They had entered into a room where many things were set down, there was also a pool near by. Marki turned to River and gestured to a table where ordinary objects were set down. “Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.” Marki said in a calming voice. Interested to see what he could do. " Don't think, just feel, channel your feelings."
River relaxed, it was strange he could feel the pool nearby. The water in the air. He channeled that energy and watched as the water moved with him.
" Now try to channel the water into the cup." Marki said gently.
River saw the cup and slowly felt the water move towards the cup. He let it flow as it wanted, and in return the water went where he wanted it to go. It entered the cup easily.
Marki looked very pleased " Excellent my boy, you are progressing then most water wielders. Now this time I want you to hold the water." Instead of channeling his magic, MArki putted out an ancient wand to demonstrate " Like this." There was a ball of water floating in the air.
River frowned at this, water didn't like to be controlled. But he tried it anyway. He decided to do something a little different than what Marki did. He formed the water into a ball but allowed it to flow around the surface, like a floating spherical river.
" You are very formable, hmm lets see what you can do on your own." He put his wand away " Try to do something on your own."
River decided to allow the water to chose what it should do, it wanted River to choose. So River decided to try his hand at making a copy of himself. The water allowed itself to take the shape of him, of course they weren't the same colors. But the shape was practically identical.
" That is very good river. We have made great progress today." He exclaimed " Also can you sent down Cora?"
"Sure," River let the water return to it's original position, "I'll send her down when I find her."
Cora slipped the gloves on, feeling the familiar tight wrap of the material. They were slim, ending a tad above her knuckles. The material felt familiar, comforting.
"Hey Cora!" River found her, "Marki says you up next."
Cora glanced up at the voice, and she nodded. She slipped off the kickboxing gloves, tossing them back onto her bed. “So fun, hm?” She said in a slightly sarcastic tone as she slipped past River, heading toward the training area,
River returned to his room.
(Hey I'm here for a second to tell you guys that I won't be in tonight bc I'm going to a friend's house for a sleepover.)

(Bet that will be fun! Good luck!)
( Is @Opia on?)
(Yeah, I’m here.)
Cora pushed open the door to the training area, striding in at the same leasurly pace she had before. “My turn now, huh?”
Cora walked in. Immediately , Marki waved his wand so everything disappeared. " Right now I want you to learn how to channel your power. Illusions is mostly mistaken for a dark power but, I doesn't have to be. Right now tell me how you are feeling."
“Mm, probably doubtful? Because this is kind of crazy?” Cora responded. It may have come out as rude, but it was just her personality.
" Ok so I want you to think about someone, just anyone and I want you to channel your feelings ok." Marki replied with interest.
