Jake combed his hair with his fingers, he was a little stressed. Tense. Anxious, oh yes. Definitely.

"Are you guys okay?" Lila asked Jake and Meg.
“I’m… alive.” Jake answered.
Meg softly sang to herself, under her breath so no one else could hear, “All through the night, Guardian angels God will send thee, All through the night, Soft the drowsy hours are creeping, Hill and dale in slumber sleeping, I my loved ones' watch am keeping, All through the night.” She thought of the nights that Steve and Bucky would sing her to sleep, making sure that she was safe. Now that her guardian angels were gone, Margaret felt exposed and raw, and she was helpless to get them back.
When she heard Lila’s question, Meg looked up and whispered, “Yeah. Yeah, I’ll be fine.”
(Its a nineteen forties lullaby)
"Grand, now Rogue where to first?"
(Sorry for the long paragraphs ill stop now)
“Are you all okay?” Meg asked.
(Naw man they were good. You can keep it up if you want.)
"I guess," Lila sighed, "I don't know what to feel right now."
She fingered the object in her pocket.
"Um, how would you feel if I said the head of a dead space giant?"
"Sounds good to me," Lila leaned back into her chair.
“The head of a What now.”
"Yeah, okay. The head of a dead space giant." she said, starting up the ship. "The first time flying can make you nauseated."
“I was not prepared for this.”
"Can't be as bad as the weird thing," Lila shivered again. Then she got really sad.
Meg grimaced and said, “You know, for some reason, I’ve never really travelled, much.”
“Lila, you okay? You kinda melted there.” Meg said, concerned. She wanted to melt, too, but she remembered what Bucky had told her that morning, the last time she’s seen him: Stay strong.
"I just miss my dad," Lila responded, "And all the weird shit he did to me."
(Children! No! Come back! We were doing so well!)
“Did to you?”
"Yeah," Lila smiled, "When I was a kid he used his magic a lot around me. I kind of got numb to it and it became our thing. One week I would send him to the void to fall for and hour . The next week he would lock me in a room of mirrors. We both had a laugh out of it."
