Jake took her hand, “I’m still being a sad puppy in my head but sure.”

Lila almost boarded the ship, but she thought of something. She quickly created a portal to a specific place in her dad's study. She found what she was looking for wrapped it up in some loose cloth and shoved it in her pocket. She returned and walked a board the ship.

“Yeah, well, I’m sobbing in my head, so we can be, quote, ‘sad puppies’ together. Shoot maybe not sad puppies that makes me think of Dad.” Meg said to Jake, and they boarded the ship together.

Meg sat down on a bench next to Jake and set the sheild beside her, determined to hold on to that piece of her dad. She pulled one of Bucky’s old T-shirts that she had grabbed out of the freshly laundered pile out of her satchel and wrapped it around her hand, clutching tightly to the two things she had of her parents.
