Lila left the smoke after him, "So what's your name?"

A few seconds after the new kid had cleared the smoky area, another explosion went off. The sound was echoed across town.

Lila sighed, "Is it so much to ask for a moment of peace? Just one moment?"

“According to the dude that set these explosions? Yes.” Meg said, wiping grime off of one hand and offering it to the newcomer.

“Hi. I’m Margaret Barnes-Rogers. Call me Meg.”

“Jake.” He said simply, taking the hand and shaking it firmly.

“Nice to meet you, Jake.”

“This is Ebony, call her Ebby, she can shapeshift; this is Lila, Dr. Strange’s kid; this is insert everyone else here.”

Thomas looked down at the town. He saw the unlikely group of super kids gathered right where he wanted them. He set off another explosion, put on his best evil smirk, and went to greet his new enemies.
