The nurse looked at Lillian, "I think there's more than a simple hit to the head going on here…."
The nurse looked at Lillian, "I think there's more than a simple hit to the head going on here…."
"Concussion?" Lillian asked worriedly.
"Definitely but his eyes are reacting strange, it's unlike any concussion that I've seen in my whole career."
"Will Alek get suspended? I hope he gets expelled. He's bullied me several times before too. He locked me in my locker one time, and the janitor had to get me out."
"I swear if he goes blind I am killing Alek," Lillian growled. She couldn't do West Side Story without a Tony.
The nurse turned to Lloyd, "That's not up to me dear, but between you and I, I hope he does too."
Darren grunted when the nurse removed the gauze from his head, "I-I-I'm-uh-f-f-f-ine"
Lillian coughed, "no you're not."
Darren tried to move his head to look at her but winced and turned back. "I-I-mean I c-c-can see."
The nurse looked worried. She directed her attention to Darren, "Have you seen a doctor about your head before this incident?"
Lillian's face melted. She said softly, "That's good."
"N-n-no why would I?"
"It's nothing I guess." The nurse frowned and and handed both Darren and Lloyd gauze, "just in case" She said.
"No gauze for me?" Lillian looked at the nurse.
"I'll give you some too, just in case Darren needs more"
"Thanks," Lillian stood up ,"So we're free to go? Because we have practice."
"Yeah, keep him off his feet as much as possible though, okay," The nurse said pointedly.
"Why do I need gauze?" Lloyd examined curiously. He had actually never seen gauze before, and it was pretty obvious. Angels didn't use this kind of stuff.
"Will do ma'am," Lillian saluted her, "We should just be running through lines today anyway."
"For him," She pointed at Darren who was leaning up against the wall waiting to leave. "He might need more."
"Have a good day kiddos" She yelled after them.
"Okay." He pocketed the strange substance, waiting for the others to go so he could follow. He never had been a leader.
Lillian pulled Darren's arm around her shoulder again and walked to the auditorium.
"What do y-y-you think she meant when s-she asked if I-I had seen a doctor for my head b-b-before this?" Darren questioned.
"So, you said we're running lines? Are they difficult?"
