"Running lines is literally reading the script Lloyd," Lillian sighed, "And I think she was wondering if you had a previous head injury that would cause this one to be so bad."
"Running lines is literally reading the script Lloyd," Lillian sighed, "And I think she was wondering if you had a previous head injury that would cause this one to be so bad."
"It shouldn't be this bad? Is it that bad??" Darren looked worried.
"No, Darren. It's fine. I've seen a lot worse, and I'm sure you'll recover quickly. Football players get concussions often, don't they?"
"I mean your eyes are being weird," Lillian said, "But otherwise it's just a normal old concussion."
"I've had concussions before. This one is bad in comparison."
"It's probably all your old concussion built up and now they're coming back to bite," Lillian explained.
"M-maybe…"
They arrived at the auditorium. Lillian walked up to the front row and helped Darren into a seat before sitting down next to him.
"Are we gonna practice the s-songs today too?"
"Wait, how many songs are there? I still don't fully understand what we're doing."
Paige burst into the auditorium, surprisingly not flanked by her friends. She stormed down the aisle and stopped at the row Lillian, Darren, and Lloyd were seated in. When she saw Darren, her eyes widened and she clapped a hand over her mouth. "Oh my-" She looked at Lillian. "What happened?"
(I'm sooooo sorry I haven't been on and I missed… a lot.)
(It's all good… Are you caught up?)
"Possibly, it depends on how far we get today," Lillian looked to Paige, "Alek, rock, concussion."
"Wait, how many songs are there? I still don't fully understand what we're doing."
"It's a musical Lloyd…"
"I know, but I really didn't know what I was signing up for. I just wanted to be tech."
"There's a ton of songs," Lillian told Lloyd, "But I don't think you're in a lot of them."
"Hey, Paige" Darren waved just realizing she was there.
(It's all good… Are you caught up?)
(Yup!)
(It's all good… Are you caught up?)
(Yup!)
(Sweet!)
Paige made a fist with her right hand and ground it into the palm of her left. "Ooooh, next time I see Alek, he's a dead man…" she muttered darkly.
"I'm okay, seriously, it'll be fine!"
"Er, that's not recommended, Paige. Murder is indeed frowned upon in all fifty states." (I assume they're in america somewhere?)
"Want my trombone?" Lillian asked Paige.
"Should we start?" Darren said attempting to stand.
"We don't need to stand for this and I don't see why not," Lillian said, "Shall we start with Scene 1, Act 1?"
