She kissed his cheek lightly. "Change my mind? About marrying you? Never."

He smiled, "Just making sure you don't get cold feet,"

"Should I be the one making sure you don't get cold feet?" She chuckled.

"Me?" He chuckled, "Why me?"

"You're the one that proposed! Therefore, you're the one more likely to back out if you suddenly find out about something that you decide you don't like about me."

"I was absolutely sure what I was doing when I proposed and I know who I'm marrying… You're more likely to back out. Maybe you felt pressured to say yes or it was a spur of the moment. I don't think people change but their feelings do,"

"Reasonable, yes. But isn't the girl the more emotional one? You know, the one more likely to get attached and therefore become really clingy?"

"I didn't say you were a child just that it might not be best to sleep right now… Maybe we'll get a hotel for a day or something and we can nap there…"

Lillian nodded after some thought, "Sounds good. C-Can we rest here for a bit before hand?"

"Reasonable, yes. But isn't the girl the more emotional one? You know, the one more likely to get attached and therefore become really clingy?"

“That’s the stereotype, Yeah,”

"I didn't say you were a child just that it might not be best to sleep right now… Maybe we'll get a hotel for a day or something and we can nap there…"

Lillian nodded after some thought, "Sounds good. C-Can we rest here for a bit before hand?"

“I suppose, yeah,”

"Thank you," she let out a slight sigh of relief. Lillian needed to get her thoughts back in order after being frenzied by that encounter.

"I guess that could be me. I am kinda clingy."
