"One of the two," Lillian said her voice going hoarse. Please don't notice her, please no.

“Okay, come one,” he wrapped his hoodie around her and walked out the back door. “We can hang out in Neal’s car. I have the spare so we can go for a drive,”

He smiled as he pulled her into a hug as much as he could. “Sorry for scaring you,”

"I think being scared is kind if my job now." She giggled lightly.

Cooper smiled. “I don’t think we got your application in Hell,”

"I'm the queen of it, I don't need an application." She stuck her tongue out childishly.

“I’m the prince of it so… I don’t need one either right?”

"Hmm, I'm not sure. You might have to take that up with Upper Management."

“Nah. I like my job,” he began drawing patterns on the back of her hand with a finger.

"Good, because there aren't many jobs that are much better than being the prince."

“The favorite of three princes at that,”

"Well you're the one she sees the most often. I think she's forgotten about Neal's existence."

“Shh. The brotherhood thinks he’s dead and he wants to keep it that way,”

"Wow okay then. I wish I could do that."

“Make me king and I’ll pretend I killed Nami… victory for all,”

"Yeah how about no. More like she'll murder both me and you."

“That’s true… maybe not then,” he chuckled.

"I don't know, being dead sounds a lot less stressful than living."

“I tried to alleviate my stress but but they brought me back,”

She grip suddenly tightened. "I'm aware."

“You know, I’ve heard stories from survivors that the moment they took that step, they regreted it. I think I was numb to that because I really just wanted to be gone,”
