She didn't hear him. It had been her favorite dress when she was younger. A cute short sleeved summer dress that she'd fallen in love with. She walked back out, twirling in a circle and watching the skirt flow out around her. She looked almost innocent except that it was only half thigh length. "It's a little shorter than what I'd normally wear but that's just because I've gotten taller. It's still so cute!"
“Very cute!” His eyes trailed across her body too slowly to be unnoticed.
She smiled a little, amused. She waltzed over and snapped her fingers in his face. "Hey, buddy, my eyes are up here."
He smiled up at her, finally meeting her eyes. “Sorry I was just taking in the view.”
She smiled fully, still very amused. "The view that isn't yours. Stop it. I don't want you dead before the wedding I'd be very sad."
“I know it’s not mine, but it’s breathtaking. I’m hands off, platonic, just a friend I swear.”
"Do you think he'd like it? The dress, I mean."
“Who Ryan? Absolutely. It’s stunning,”
"Hmm, I don't know. It's a bit short. It doesn't look slutty?"
“No I don’t think so but if you feel it’s too short you could wear like… leggings with it?”
"No it's fine I was just wondering." She twirled again, loving the feeling of the skirt flaring out before giggling.
Cooper jumped up and stood next to her. “Here hold still, you have a string.” He pulled a string off by her shoulder, being careful not to break it.
"Oh, thanks. I would've never noticed." She pulled her braid over her shoulder. "When do you think he'll be done? I don't want to bother him again…"
“Probably soon. Or maybe he’s sitting in there alone trying to process his life,”
“I am not!” Ryan yelled from the hall. “I have a spider to keep me company,”
"You also have a fiancée for that but you seem to be ignoring her for reasons she can't comprehend." She yelled back, laughing.
Ryan strolled into sight with his hands in his pockets. He leaned against the doorframe. “Did you need something?”
"Yes. I need your opinion. Is this slutty short or is it fine?" She gestured to her dress with a slight smile.
“No I think it’s fine. Careful when you sit though,”
(Plot twist. Ryan and Cooper’s love hate relationship turns into a hook up)
"Okay good. Just wondering." She spun in a circle, looking somewhat innocent in a kind of girl next door way. "I'm just surprised it still fits."
Ryan chuckled, “youre in a House of wolves. Seems unsafe,”
(Plot twist. Ryan and Cooper’s love hate relationship turns into a hook up)
(Plot twist. No.)
(It’s not a plot twist, it was expected)
"I don't know if you meant for that to be an MCR reference but I appreciate it either way."
“It was meant to be. Yes. But you’re being cute, trapped in a house where you’re with two guys who want you,”
