Her fingers played with his hair easily. Like doing an old dance.

He let out a soft exhale against her lips, his entire body was frozen like his brain didn't know what to do. It had been awhile since anyone had done this.

"Of course!" She smiled lightly, stomping out her cigarette.

"Okay," he laughed, "Sorry, just after finding out that my brother was the best man… yeah I didn't know where we stood so I wasn't sure if I was invited,"

"Well he is Ryan's best friend. I'd have my sister be my maid of honor but I can't do that for obvious reasons."

"I know, I'm sorry," he sniffed, it was awkward again and he couldn't let that linger for too long. They were finally talking.

Lillian shuddered slightly. She couldn't remember the last time they had done this. She didn't care, every moment was nice with him.

The movie played in the background and it reminded him of their first kiss with West Side Story playing in the back. Both of them were shy little kids with a crush that they didn't know how to handle.

He let his heavy eyes close again, the feeling over her lingering hand still in full effect with his tiredness.

Coop paused at the contact, it wasn't what he'd expected but he had absolutely no complaints. "O-Okay, what's the one thing that's for sure? I don't want to change something you already have set,"

"Sleep?" he yawned, already half there, "But, I'm not sleepy,"
