Lillian was smiling, until it slowly faded away. Without Darren keeping her mind away from it. From ignoring what today was. She was vulnerable to the demons in her mind. She shook her head quickly, keep those thoughts back.

His focus was completely on her ring. He’d been staring at it for a long time now and it had finally caused him to fall silent in deep thought.

Lillian let out a soft sigh. She could do this, it was just one stupid day after all.
