Lillian looked at the ceiling. She heard shouting and figured it was her parents fighting again. She let out a small whimper, this meant her mom would be down to take her anger out on Lillian.

"Bye." Lloyd went up to his room and flopped down on the bed. There was no way he'd be able to sleep with a migraine and nausea, but it was worth a shot. As he expected, he had to get up several times during the night to throw up. He still wasn't sure why he had to throw up, as he hadn't eaten anything, but there was nothing he could do about it.

Darren looked back and kissed her on the nose “that doesn’t sound good.”

Ben walked silently home. He unlocked the door to his apartment, shouting, "Is anyone home?" He heard nothing. He sighed and walked to his room. His parents were probably still out working. They barely payed attention to him, since they worked all day. He lied down and fell asleep, troubled and lonely.

Lillian nodded as her body involuntarily shook, "H-hide. N-need to hide."

Darren rolled off of her with a confused look painted on his face, "What's happening?"

"S-she's coming," Lillian said. Out side the door were heavy footsteps that kept coming closer. Lillian backed against the wall of her bed, "H-hide. O-or s-she'll hurt."

Darren scrambled to find somewhere to hide. He found a place and stayed quiet.

Lillian's mother threw the door open and slammed it behind her. She turned to Lillian with fury ablae in her eyes, "It's all your fucking fault! You slut!"

Lillian continued to back into her corner. Her mother prowled closer and raised her hand. Lillian closed her eyes as her mother slapped her across the face. Her mother then began to hit her repeatedly as Lillian curled into a ball sobbing. The mother continued shouting at Lillian, "YOU USLESS WHORE! I SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAD YOU! THEN MAYBE HE WOULD LOVE ME! WHY DON'T YOU DO SOMETHING USEFUL FOR ONCE AND JUST GO FUCKING DIE! OR MAYBE YOU SHOULD FALL IN LOVE! OR HAVE YOU ALREADY FUCKED ALL THE BOYS IN YOUR SCHOOL! HUH?! YOU SLUT!"

Darren told himself to stay put but before he realized what was happening he was already standing up walking closer to Lillian's mom.

Lillian's mother continued hitting Lillian until the girl was black and blue. Lillian was holding in her tears. She wanted this all to go away. Her mother paused for a second to catch her breath before resuming her barrage.

Darren ran up from behind grabbing the mother's arm mid-swing. His heart was racing and he had no clue what he was doing, just that he had to protect Lillian.

(Yeah Lloyd shared his life story at some point bc Darren wanted the attention off of Lillian. So he was just like SO LLOYD WHAT'RE YOUR SECRETS HUH?)

(Is that how darren found out about the whole angel thing?)

(I remember that. Darren is best boyfriend.)

Lillian's mother turned to Darren her face filled with rage, "The Hell do you think you're doing?! You are you anyway!? Another one of the bitch's boy toys?!"

Darren stared into her devilish eyes, he could feel the rage steaming off of her as he said quietly but assertively, "Leave. Her. Alone"

(Aww Thanks… I try! Lol)

(No that was a different time. They already knew about his angelness before, he just kinda had to tell them his life story from before he met them)

Lillian's mother spat, "You have no right to tell me what I can and cannot do to her, you fucker!"
