Lillian gave him a hug, "Okay good."

"Are you sure about me staying at your house tonight?" Darren questioned.

Lillian nodded, "It wouldn't be safe for you to go home. Besides I can deal with her."

Darren yawned, "Thank you." Darren hugged her back, "I love you"

"I love you too," Lillian sighed. She was happy in the embrace of Darren.

"So, what're you in for?" The nurse asked Ben, organizing supplies.

"Oh, I'm just here for my friend" Ben smiled at Lloyd. "He's sick."

The nurse checked Lloyd's temperature. "Well, it seems like you're running a bit high, but I don't think thats the problem."

"I-I keep telling them I'm fine, but I think throwing up earlier made them think otherwise…" What in the world did she just put in my mouth? And how did it tell her I'm running high? What does that even mean?

"So should we wait for them to come back or?"

"Well yeah, honey. Throwing up is usually not a good thing." She chuckled. "You may just have the stomach flu."

Lillian thought about it, "If you really want to, I guess we could go."

"Stomach flu?" Lloyd cocked his head slightly to the side. "What's that?"

Ben stared at Lloyd. This kid didn't know a lot about health does he? "Its a intestinal infection, but don't worry, it only lasts for a couple of days."

"It's up to you if you wanna wait for Lloyd, they're probably just gonna tell him to go home anyways…"

Lillian nodded, "Let's go then."

"Oh… okay. Should I just go home now?" Lloyd winced slightly as pain shot through his temple and spread through his brain.

Darren nodded and followed Lillian.

"Yeah, I think that would be best, sweetie." the nurse said. "You dont want to be spreading that nasty flu."
Ben jumped up. "I'll walk you home. You need someone to take care of you, man."

"Er, okay." Lloyd stood up and left, glancing about the empty halls. Their footsteps echoed in the silence, and Lloyd could hear only the pounding in his head.

Lillian walked out of the school, she sighed wondering how to confront her mother.

"Hey man can I ask you something?" ben asked, not noticing Lloyds pain.

Darren pulled up in front of Lillian's house. He got out of the car and waited for Lillian to do the same. Honestly a little afraid to go up to the house before she did.

"Hmm? Yeah, sure. What do you need?"

Ben: Um, where are your parents?
Lloyd: I live alone.
Ben: Um. Okay. You should eat some soup or something.
Lloyd: Oh, no, I don't eat.
Ben: …wtf?)

Lillian got out of the car and walked up to her house. She took a deep breath before entering.
