(Yeah ok lets go with that hahaha)
"What do you mean you dont eat?"
(Yeah ok lets go with that hahaha)
"What do you mean you dont eat?"
"Um, I don't… eat? Is that unusual?" Lloyd turned on the lights and walked into the hall, putting his keys on a hook. The kitchen did look very forlorn and woebegone, littered with cobwebs and no food to be detected at all.
Darren looked at his feet, his heart racing as he entered Lillian's house.
(What was Ben gonna ask btw?)
Lillian called out, "I'm home!"
Her mother entered the room and spotted the pair. She frowned slightly, "And you brought company. You know the rules."
Lillian stared her mother down, "He needs a place to stay for the night. I offered."
Mrs. Phoenix grinned wildly, "Oh is that so slut?"
Lillian shrunk down at the word. She needed to stay strong, but that was hard to do sometimes, "Yes."
Darren spoke up with a shaky voice, "Is it okay if I stick around tonight?"
"Um, I don't… eat? Is that unusual?" Lloyd turned on the lights and walked into the hall, putting his keys on a hook. The kitchen did look very forlorn and woebegone, littered with cobwebs and no food to be detected at all.
"Yeah man, thats kind of unusual" Ben chuckled. "Oh yeah! I was going to ask you: Why dont you know any common health things, like Advil and stomach flu?"
Lillian's mother turned her attention to the boy, "Oh of course! Maybe you'll finally do something useful with her life. Teach the girl her place."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Darren looked at her sharply.
"Er, I'm… f-foreign… yeah." Not technically a lie, but it still hurts…
The mother pulled Lillian away from Darren and put her hands on Lillian's shoulders. Lillian didn't bother to fight back, "Oh you know what I mean. It's just a part of the rite of passage isn't it dearie."
Lillian's mother lifted her daughter's chin so Lillian was looking straight into her soulless eyes. Lillian began to shake.
(Ben: O rlly? Cool where u from
Lloyd: ………..frickIdidn'tplanthisfarahead)
Darren watched unsure of what to do.
"Where are you from?" Ben asks, looking around the house for an indicator or some info on who Lloyd is.
Oh, um… Lloyd hesitated for a few moments. "Do you promise to not tell anyone? Save our theater group; they already know." He shifted his wings a bit under his hoodie.
Lillian shut her eyes and nodded.
Her mother patted her head and shoved Lillian towards Darren. Lillian stumbled as her mother said, "Now go and be a good little whore. Go please the big strong boy."
"Umm.. sure, I won't tell anyone." Ben said.
Darren caught Lillian so she wouldn't fall over, "I told you this wasn't a good idea," He whispered to her.
"Um, I'm… I-I'm not… human." Lloyd said awkwardly, looking away.
Darren caught Lillian so she wouldn't fall over, "I told you this wasn't a good idea," He whispered to her.
"What do you mean?" Ben said, confused.
"I'm an angel. I've only lived on earth a few years, and with little human contact."
(Does Ben believe him? Or is he skeptical like Darren?)
Lillian whispered back, "It was the best option we had. Besides she isn't fighting us on this."
(He believes him)
"Ok… I mean, I believe you, but I want you to prove it."
Darren nodded and looked back at Lillian's mom.
