Lillian paused also. She slowly turned towards Darren.

Darren stood by her side and took her hand; they both walked forward and knelt on the ground.

Lillian waited for Darren as she knelt on the ground her breathing slightly uneven as her mind recalled what came next.

"I Anton, take the Maria." Darren couldn't help the smile that covered his face even though the scene was serious.

Lillian spotted Darren's smile and she smiled also, "I, Maria, take thee Anton."

"For richer, for poorer." Darren glanced at Lillian out of the corner of his eye.

"In sickness and in health," Lillian met Darren's eyes with hers.

"To love and to honor."

"To hold and to keep."

"From each sun to each moon."

"From tomorrow to tomorrow."

"From now until forever." Darren's smile faded into loving seriousness as he looked into Lillian's eyes.

Lillian's face mirrored his with true emotion, "Till death do us part."

Darren held up Lillian's hand and pretended to slide a ring on her finger, "With this ring, I thee wed."

Lillian looked at Darren as she took his hand and slipped an imaginary ring onto it, "With this ring, I thee wed."

Darren took both her hands in his and began to sing, sings One Hand, One Heart

When the song was over he leaned in and kissed her, it felt like more than just practicing lines now.

Lillian kissed back. The moment had felt real, genuine. She wondered if this would be in her future someday.
