Oh okay
Oh okay
The three walked to class saying goodbye to Lloyd so he could go to his ‘smart people class’
Lillian sighed as she walked to class, another droning day.
(Lmao
Darren: K you go to your smart people class now
Lloyd: Um excuse me it's called AP Calculus, Ap Calc if ur cool.
Darren: No one who takes 'AP Calc' is cool)
Lloyd waved as he went into Ap Calculus, taking out his heavy textbook. He didn't find this class too hard, just tedious and boring.
(Lillian: I'll see you in AP Lang and Comp.
Darren: Wait you have a smart people class?
Lillian: Yes. I'm not stupid.)
(Lol. Darren: cries in corner. Why do dumb man?)
(Lloyd: Get on my level
Darren: I'm like six inches taller than you
Lloyd: looks up at Darren ………..frick)
(Lol)
Lillian sat down in class. She pulled out a book and began reading.
(Have I mentioned that Lillian is tiny? Like she and Lloyd would probably be around the same height.)
(How tall is Darren? Lloyd's like, 5'5" or 5'6" I think. Maybe 5'4")
Darren hated class he never had anything to do and he couldn’t focus with the teachers speaking with monotone voices. He opted to just watching Lillian read her book.
(He’s like around 6 foot)
(Guess Lloyd's 5'4" then bc earlier I said Darren's like six inches taller lol)
Lillian felt Darren watching her read. She was a bit weirded out that he would watch her read.
(hoo boi lets go)
Genatrix sat perched in a tree outside the AP Calculus classroom, keeping a close eye on the one Luena called 'Lloyd'. The familiar could sense that he was no ordinary human, but as to what, she wasn't sure.
~~
Luena was working on some AP English homework. Her mind had moved on to more interesting matters. Like the puppy she had left back at home. Or why the freakin' will-o'-the-wisps had led her to the pup.
Suddenly, a bright burst of orange flame appeared in front of her. The puppy stepped out of it, its eyes burning hotter and brighter than the flames it teleported through.
Luena was tackled by the puppy.
'So. I have a hellhound.' She thought
The day dragged on, and classes ended.
Lillian sighed in relief as she entered the auditorium, "Freedom!"
Darren didn't go to rehearsal right away. The football coach has requested to see him…
"Coach?" Darren shouted entering the locker room. "Back here son" A response came from the back office.
Darren walked in and was told to sit down. The coach ruffled through a stack of papers while saying, "You made a commitment to this team kid."
Lillian sat down in the front row. Darren was talking with the football coach at the moment, so he was going to be late.
Darren nodded. The coach continued, "You scored the lead in the musical I hear." Darren nodded again. "One problem… The big game is on the same night as the musical." Darren's face fell. "This game will have college drafters looking for new players and you have a guaranteed spot for a scholarship. If you show up. I'm only gonna let you play at that game if you quit the musical now. Your choice son." The coach looked Darren in the eyes, "You understand?" Darren nodded, slowly this time, "Yes sir I do."
Lillian read through the script, she looked around waiting for the others to get there.
Darren left the locker room feeling completely defeated. He walked into the auditorium and slumped into a seat next to Lillian.
Lillian looked over at Darren noticing how down he looked, "What happened? Do I need to go after someone?"
