"Shh, you'll jinx it." She laughed. She continued to wait for her pancakes until a sudden pain struck her. She hissed in pain, looking down to see what was wrong only to find herself covered in some kind of fluid. Belle went pale. Now?? Of all times, now?? "Ryan? We've got a problem."
Ryan's eyes widened and he whipped his head around, "Now?!" He could feel himself panic. Without thinking, he ditched the pancakes and sprinted up the stairs to grab the prepacked bag they had made up months ago. He chucked it down the stairs and then basically threw himself down the stairs just trying to rush back to Belle.
"I, thank you," Lillian replied quietly. She gave him a shaky smile, "I'm so glad your back."

He sat down on the couch, "Cooper needed… help… to say the least. He made quite the mess down there. I'm sorry I couldn't explain before I left. I can't imagine how it felt to wake up and realize I was gone," he stared at his feet shamefully.
Belle just rolled her eyes. Of course he was panicking, no surprise there. But she couldn't say she wasn't scared herself. She slowly got up from the chair, still wincing with the pain of going into labor.

"It fucking hurt, I'll tell you that much," Lillian told him sitting down next to him. She immediately curled up next to him as a subtle reminder this wasn't a hallucination. If it was then it was a really good one, "But your here, and your back, and your not leaving me ever again. Right?"

Ryan was scared out of his mind. He raced to the stove to turn it off and then right back out the door to help Belle.

Darren sighed… He had spent the a very long time with Cooper and here he was again… "I thought you were going home?"
"I am home… I live here too squirt," Cooper grinned
"Don't call me that," Darren mumbled, knowing it wouldn't do anything.
Lillian could feel the slightest of genuine smiles start to form on her face. She looked to Darren and then to Cooper, "I think you're the squirt here."
Cooper squinted at her, trying to form a response. Finally, he stuttered, "M-Maybe you're the squirt,"
Darren and Cooper had spend too long out of human form. Getting back into the swing of how to be a normal person was easier for Darren because he had spent most of his life this way but Cooper was Shaxx for much longer and in the last year, they had both been in demon form constantly.
Lillian could feel laughter bubble in her chest at his response, but she couldn't bring herself to let it out, "Is that all you got?"
Cooper couldn't tell if this challenge angered him or entertained him, he raised an eyebrow the way Darren always did, "I'm just asking you to consider for a second that if Darren isn't the squirt and we all know that I could never be the squirt… there's only one other person here who could be the squirt and that's you,"
"Nah," Lillian dismissed Cooper easily though it was hard to keep her voice even at the moment. She flashed a forced smirk at him mustering all the energy her small form had, "You're definitely the squirt here."
Darren chuckled, he found this to be quite humorous but he could tell his brother did not feel the same way.
Cooper's brow furrowed, "You did not even stop to consider my logic on the matter. YOU are the squirt,"
"No, no I did," Lillian told him after a moment of thought. She took a very small, but deep breath, keeping herself from breaking down again, "You're just not realizing that you radiate squirt energy."
