Lillian followed him and had to look at the mess she had made what felt like forever ago, "So where do we start?"
"Front to back? Uh no. I'm going to actually replace the back bumper and fenders. The tires themselves are fine,"

She wiped off the now warm gel and headed for the door. "Come on love."
"Okay, umm how can I help?"
She wiped off the now warm gel and headed for the door. "Come on love."
He held the folder close to his chest and walked out with her.
"Okay, umm how can I help?"
"You start up there. The crash completely blew the fender up there so… Can you change a tire?"
"I think so," Lillian nodded looking at the tire.
She wiped off the now warm gel and headed for the door. "Come on love."
He held the folder close to his chest and walked out with her.
She waved to the nurses and headed out into the sunshine. "Ahh, what a beautiful way to spend the last day of June."
He turned to her and pulled her into his lips, "I love you," he said quietly, the first words he'd said in awhile.
"I think so," Lillian nodded looking at the tire.
"Loosen the lugs before, not after you raise it with a jack… yeah?" he pulled his shirt over his head to beat the heat before it beat him.
"Yeah," Lillian nodded, not hiding her quick glance at Darren's top. She moved over towards the tire, this was going to be interesting.
"I love you too." She smiled brightly. "Now let's get home, yeah?"
"Yes," Ryan agreed quickly as he moved to the car.
"Yeah," Lillian nodded, not hiding her quick glance at Darren's top. She moved over towards the tire, this was going to be interesting.
He bit his lip and watched her for a moment before chuckling and moving to his bumper, "If you need help, says something,"
"I will," Lillian responded before reaching for the thing that you used on lugs.
Darren couldn't help but watch out of the corners of his eyes with an amused smile. He carried the bumped over and pulled the damaged one off.
She was trying her best okay? She was very careful as she loosened the lugs, considering she had a faint idea as to what she was doing.
Darren aligned the bumper and put it on before silently going to her side and putting the jack under the car. Waiting for her to loosen the lug nuts so he could jack it.
Lillian finished with the lugs and looked over to see Darren. It made her jump a little, but she gave him a slight nod.
He pumped the car up, "Take the tire off, let's see those muscles," He was anxious to watch this happen.
Lillian sighed and she grabbed the tire, "I don't have muscles," she took a deep breath before removing the tire with a bit of effort. Her arms flexing as she pulled the tire off.
Darren poked her arm, "There it is!" he stood and grabbed the replacement with ease.
Lillian sighed and sat back moving the tire away, "Shut up."
"Love you babe," he slid the tire on, "Okay. Lug nuts go on and then I'll lower it,"
Lillian started to put the lug nuts back in, "Yeah yeah. Love you too."
"And now you know exactly how to change a tire, right?" he moved back to his fenders and just kinda… stared at them.
