Lillian scowled and swam after him. She wasn't as good as Darren, actually she kind of sucked.

(He lost a bunch of weight and he has a dark spot on his skin, he'll get a lot of those if he gets worse. They're painful and seeing one means he's doing really bad.)

Fleur saw a flicker of something dark on his skin. She felt a lump form in her throat. "A… A tattoo?" she asked softly, hoping she was right.
