“Yeah. It really is.” he nodded softly, hesitantly placing his arm behind her shoulders.
“Yeah. It really is.” he nodded softly, hesitantly placing his arm behind her shoulders.
She giggled a little at his hesitation and gently grabbed the hand that was hanging off her shoulder and nuzzled her head into his chest
Marcus felt his ears turn red as Maria took his hand and leaned closer. He wasn't complaining, it was just unexpected… Then again he wasn't sure what to expect from her. And he kinda liked that. He let out a slow breath and moved his arm closer.
Maria hadn't really noticed what she'd done until she did it and it was to late to pull away she took a deep breath and focused I. The sunset her small smile creeping back on her face
Marcus glanced back down at her and smiled softly. “What do you think?” he asked.
"I think…this is the best date I've ever been on…I mean it's kind of my second if you count yesterday but you really know how to wow a girl I mean first the cave and then…this, it's absolutely amazing and I've loved every minute of it."
Marcus chuckled and shook his head. “I appreciate you saying that. And I'm glad you enjoyed everything.” he smiled sincerely. “Most girls I've dated, wouldn't have enjoyed the cave as much as you did. Most were more interested in nice restaurants or my bike.” he admitted.
"Well I'm not that type of girl don't worry I don't need someone else's tho gs to make me happy."
“I noticed.” he smiled warmly at her. “And I think it's a good thing.”
"As do I but most people just find it stupid..they find me stupid." She said with a soft laugh
He shook his head again. “If anything, they're the stupid ones. For not recognizing how special you are.”
Maria blushed and looked up at him "ya know if I had a nickel for every time you made me blush i'd be rich."
“I’m just trying to be nice.” Marcus chuckled softly. “Though that last line might have been a little cheesy.” he admitted.
She smiled and shook her head "you are very nice ill give you that.'
“Thank you. You are too.” he smiled back.
She looked at him still blushing a little"yes I know I'm a very nice person." She couldn't help but laugh after saying that
“Yes, you are.” he said sincerely, laughing lightly with her.
Maria smiled "its really pretty up here… "
Marcus hummed softly in agreement. “Yeah, it is.” he nodded watching the sun sparkle on the waves.
She laud her head back down the way it was and sighed "I still can't believe you brought me here.."
“Why not?” Marcus asked, raising a brow slightly. “I thought you might enjoy it. Besides, it wasn't any trouble or anything.” he trailed off.
"I know but it was just…really the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me and I love this place it's like me coming here I can finally breathe, this is so new and exciting and I don't have that in London."/
Marcus gave a thoughtful nod, trying not to feel bad, or at least let it show that he felt bad, that someone like Maria wasn't treated like this more often. “Well, I'm glad that you like this so much.” he smiled sincerely. “But uh… Have you ever been on the Eye of London before? I think that's the name for it. It's the tallest Ferris Wheel in the world.”
Maria smiled back at him and nodded her head "I really am thank you, um.. well I can't say I have I didn't even know that was a thing… Maybe when I go back I could try it out but I can't promise that if I'm alone I will. " she said shrugging her shoulders
Marcus smiled warmly at the thanks and nodded at her explanation. “That's fair enough. It's probably a huge tourist attraction anyway.” he acknowledged. “Hey, maybe sometime I could visit London and we could see it together.”
